"The place was clean, outdoor garden and massage pool beautiful. There is an outdoor kitchen and dining table between the two bedrooms. Great for playing games or having a glass of wine. Very peaceful and charming. Beds are very comfortable. Staying in a unique jungle place was an experience and I can now check off my bucket list. Coras Place Bacalar Lagoon Front

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent support from the staff and a great location to enjoy the lake! What a relaxing place to unwind and recharge. I highly recommend sunrise on the lake in a kayak. Beautiful."

Hotel Aldea Cruzo'ob

8/10 Good

"The setting is very peaceful even though the highway is close. The cabins are surrounded by palm trees. It would be nice to at least have coffee available at the hotel. As of now, no food of any kind is available on site. I found a high quality restaurant in about a 5 minute drive. At times, there were issues with running water but staff attended rapidly and were able to turn it back on."

Villa Alebrije, pool, AC near lagoon

8/10 Good

"The location was great, we enjoyed Bacalar and other activities close by. The host responded quickly when we asked for a different coffee pot. The beds were comfortable the showers were great and my grandkids enjoyed the pool in the evenings. We would have enjoyed more water with 5 people for 5 days it wasn’t enough. The AC is only in the bedrooms and if you cook they will not cool the kitchen. Overall we felt very safe and if I wasn’t going to cook much I would love to rent again. Thanks for the wonderful vacation. Brenda from Oklahoma/ Adveturas Akumal"

Bacalar Casa Relaxo on the Lagoon with Private Dock

10/10 Excellent

"Fantastic location. Perfect place for quiet relaxation. Hammocks on the dock were incredible with the breeze. Water temp was perfect for jumping in and swimming to cool off. Saw a pair of Spider Monkeys in the fruit tree in the backyard one evening. Screened in porches were great for having dinner through their recommended chef, Martin. A/C's in the room worked well. Only had one small issue and the host came immediately and fixed it."

Hotel Buenavista Bacalar Jungle Experience

10/10 Excellent

"Check in was quick and easy. Room was fine. Quiet and clean. Spacious and near the pool. Pool was very nice. Ben was great with information how to walk to the lagoon fifteen minutes away. Bring bug repellent. It is a jungle out there. Found the lake and had the place all to ourselves. Spectacular. Seven colours in the water easy to identify. Warm and fresh. Stairs made access into and out of the water easy. Nice little place to sit and enjoy the view. Marco, made us dinner. Very friendly and knowledgeable fellow. A great pasta based on his Italian roots. Prima 👍👍 Sitting by the fire was relaxing. Star gazing was easy and beautiful. Nice quiet room to sleep at night. Woken up by the bird calls. Breakfast was included and ok. Coffee needs work. No kayaks :( and water not quite as close as expected but still worth the walk."

AQUA VIVA garden view, Pool, AC, Beach club

10/10 Excellent

"This place is beautiful and modern! Surrounded by natural beauty, close to the lagoon and the town of Bacalar. We loved staying here, in fact we booked 4 additional nights we loved it so much! Highly recommend, the Host was super friendly and accommodating! "

Nearest town is Bacalar 30 minutes away! There is Nothing near you. The house pictures and accommodations are exactly what is portrayed! Beautiful and very relaxing!!!! If you are looking for peace and quite! This beautiful property is perfect! We had a wonderful time. Oops.... Bring Bug Spray just incase! "

MAYA CALA ~LAKEFRONT STUNNING PRIVATE SETTING DOCK PALAPA & SWINGS SUP-B KAYAKS

10/10 Excellent

"This place was perfect for my birthday getaway with friends. The lake and dock were fantastic and really made us feel like we were on the edge of the world, we saw maybe 6 other people the whole time we were on the water. Rooms were clean and the AC units in the bedrooms worked great. It was a true jungle oasis. Felt very safe, especially with the 24 hr manned security gate. The chef recommended by Sally, Chef Martin and his team made the most delicious meals. Large portions and truly amazing food every single day, that was such a treat. Would love to come back!"
