"Room was fine, although the soap dispensers leave a mess on the wall. A pool area is closed but we could swim in the river which was probably better. Beautiful view from the restaurant for the ok food. Breakfast a little underwhelming."

"Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Upon arrival we were checked in by think her name was Susan who was lovely & welcoming. As we're all the staff unfortunately didn't get their names. Room was lovely better than expected only disappointment was the plant based teabags in he room so coffee it was & pleased to see decaf option no other option of tea available that we could see but was more options at breakfast which I was happy about as love my tea. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast is buffet options with the options of cereals ,fruit , fresh fruit, yoghurt toast & muffins disappointed no mushrooms but was good. Plenty of parking . Would definitely stay again. Only bad point & this has nothing to do with hotel but next door is TGIs building which is currently shut but when we walked over to the Metro centre the path was blocked most of the way with overgrown bushes which meant we had to walk on the wrong side of the barrier which was fine until we got to the roundabout luckily wasn't too busy but at peak time would be very dangerous but as I said this is in no way anything to do with Holiday inn . Would definitely book & stay again if in the area"

"Lovely hotel in a fantastic setting. Room and bathroom a good size. Breakfast had a good choice of food and replenished. The only fault is that the pool & spa area is not very accessible in that while the lift goes to floor one it is for staff only. It is also poorly signposted, we had to walk around quite a bit to find the changing room which was accessed through the ladies & gents toilets. Robes and slippers would also have been useful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and return ourselves."
