"Lovely farmhouse. Although described as standard double, the room was larger than expected as was the bathroom which boasted separate shower and bath. The whole suite was immaculately clean and extras such as biscuits and fruit and ‘proper’ milk in a mini fridge were provided. "As a single traveller it's lovely to have a true single room that doesn't feel as if it's been squashed into the last piece of space available. Everything you might need has been thought of. Forgot your corkscrew? There's one there. A bit chilly? (doubtful because the house is lovely and warm). A hot water bottle is in your drawer. "An area of the bedroom carpet was very wet and we had to stand on it when accessing the wardrobe and when passing through the door. This was especially unpleasant during the night. The carpet showed no signs of drying out so the possible cause was a drainage leak from the adjacent shower room.
