As we were attending a family party in central Shrewsbury, we wanted to stay fairly close with parking. The Yak & Yeti was perfect for us: great location - only a short walk over the bridge into town. We had the most amazing breakfast in the morning - exactly what we needed after a late night out!

Lovely, comfortable & clean Hotel

A nice clean comfortable room 5 mins walk from the center of Shrewsbury. The staff are fantastic, so helpful, smiley and friendly and the food was fantastic, all our meals tasted very freshly prepared and cooked.

Can't find anything negative to say about this place. It was easy to find and close to the town centre, a 7 min walk. We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff on arrival who showed us to our room which was warm, clean and homely. Beds were very comfortable. Would recommend.

The room was good but not quite as cosy as room 7 which was not the main issue. I was in a room in the annexe next to the car park and kitchen i was awoken at 7.15 by crashing and banging of metal which went on for about 20 minutes. I realise this is a restaurant business but need to realise they are also a hotel where people need to sleep. I wlll seriously consider whether to stay here again. This is a shame because i have enjoyed and been impressed on previous stays.
