"Very nice hotel, very popular with the older generation. At 55 we were the youngest staying it appeared. Nice grounds and food and drink not too overpriced. Only let down was the bed size and AC fault, it may have been a queen size bed but certainly as small to us. The AC was working then around 1am stopped working and the heat built up, showing P14 error. We were too tired to contact reception and ask to move room. Certainly expect better for the £250pn paid."

"Breakfast very poor both days Closed the outside seating area (30d) and restaurant for a private party,they should think about the people staying in hotel o they did not. Check out,come down stairs to reception you could not move for people and also outside on pavement. + Room was excellent plus the Bar staff was excellent."

"My wife and I stayed here for two nights on a weekend and were impressed with the spartan yet functional rooms. Despite the size and pay for what you need aspect, it's a fairly decent value if all you need is a bed and some air conditioning. It's about the size of a citizenM room but without all the technology in the room. Definitely would stay here again with one caveat. We paid for a late checkout (£20 until 1 pm) and had a male maid barge into our room while my wife was sleeping. When confronted, all he could muster was "did you pay for late checkout?" When I confirmed that we did indeed pay for a late checkout and did he want me to show him a receipt and/or confirm with the front desk He said it wasn't necessary. Needless to say, not one apology for entering the room or disturbing our rest. Tacky at best, unprofessional at worst. Definitely a few moments for improvement. The rest of our stay was uneventful."
