Nice quiet place to stay
Clare's cottage was a very nice place to stay; it was comfortable and had everything you need for a self catering break.
The whole house was comfortable and off road parking was available beside the house.
Ebrington is a nice quiet village and was within easy reach of many Cotswold villages and towns.

Lovely cottage in beautiful location
A perfect stay in a cosy, beautiful cottage. We stayed with two younger kids, plenty to do in local area - walks from door, coffee at the farm shop down the road, tea in pub across the road. The cottage is smaller but carefully planned and had everything we needed. Ebrington as a village is peaceful and like a postcard, very beautiful.

A delight indeed
We enjoyed a lovely four day break at Clare’s Cottage. All wonderful - cottage, location, fabulous pub opposite and excellent convenient nearby farm shop. It really couldn’t have been more ideal. We hope to return soon for a longer holiday.

Cosy cottage
The cottage was cosy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the linen & towels good quality.
However we were expecting to find logs, kindling etc to be able to have a fire in the lounge but there wasn’t any so we went searching for some which we found. Ebrington was quiet and peaceful and the Ebrington Arms was a good place to have a drink.
Lovely cottage our only criticism would be the shower size rather small for the larger person
But overall very clean and tidy and a good location

Claire’s cottage
Claire’s cottage is very quaint and situated in a pretty spot. Everything looks very new and the beds and pillows are very comfy. There is a very steep staircase so you do have to be very careful when coming up and down! Would definitely book again if visiting the Cotswolds for a weekend.

Great little cottage
Clares cottage is a great cottage at the heart of the village close to amenities.
The team provided everything you need, but attention to detail is a bit lacking.
Time or something got away from the cleaning team and there was evidence.
The fire is a lovely touch until you realise the tools are lacking. So difficult to
clean out the fireplace.
Nice space outside, lovely furniture in the main, and warm with the heaters.

Relaxing Break in Cosy Period Cottage.
We had a lovely, relaxing break and lucked out with glorious April sunshine at Clare's cottage. It is a period cottage with quaint quirks I like. Yes, the kitchen and corridor from the sitting room had low ceilings, but my husband and son (6'1") coped fine. The kitchen was very well equipped, had everything we needed and more. The cottage was clean, comfortably furnished and thoughtfully decorated. The beds are fantastic. We were out and about during the day but the village was lovely to walk around in the evenings. The cottage is literally a stone's throw from the church, pub, wee village green and several beautiful thatched cottages. Communication from StayCotswold was fantastic. We would not hesitate to book again if we were ever in the area.

Beautiful little cottage, just metres from a nice pub and a short drive from lovely towns
Beautiful and cosy little cottage in a nice quiet village, with a friendly country pub just metres from the door.
We really enjoyed how comfortable the cottage was. Our 6 year old loved it too, and felt very at home from the moment we arrived.
Off road, behind gate, parking space for a couple of cars was great too. Plus, nice walking routes around the edges of the village and only a short drive to some lovely towns.
I should make the point though that anybody who is over 6ft tall or particularly broad in stature may struggle here. A couple of incredibly low doorways and a very small shower cubicle and shower door opening would be very difficult for some (there is no bath).

An impromptu weekend in the Cotswolds
Clare's cottage was conveniently located for exploring the surrounding area and directly across the road from the village pub which was perfect given the torrential rain that arrived on Sunday afternoon just as we were heading there for Sunday lunch.
The cottage is bijoux and generally well maintained and equipped and also has the advantage of onsite parking.
Unfortunately we were not able to use the fire as there were no matches or kindling - this was a bit of a shame.
The beds were comfortable which is very important... but what is equal important is a good shower and unfortunately there appears to be perhaps a water pressure issue as even on high it was little more than a trickle.
IF the shower were to be upgraded I would have no hesitation to stay there again.

Pleasant cottage in great location
A very pleasant little cottage, centrally located in a lovely North Cotswolds village, with easy access to everything the Cotswolds has to offer, and only a minute away from the local pub.
We found it ideal for 2 people, though it would work for a family, maybe a little small for groups of adults. It's well equipped and has been nicely fitted out (including large fridge freezer in the litchen), and we found the beds particularly comfortable.
The ceiling between the kitchen and living room is quite low and needs careful navigation, and the stairs are fairly steep, so maybe less suitable for people with mobility issues. For us if worked just fine in spite of the occasional head bump!
Parking was easy right outside the door and there's a small garden area for sitting out (which seems to get sun mainly in the mornings).
Overall, we were very satisfied with Clare's Cottage for our week away and would happily book it again.

Gorgeous little costy cottage stones throw away from a pub and lots of local walks
Our little cottage was perfect. It had the heating on when we arrived which we had to turn down as the heaters worked extremely well. The doors to the cottage do have gaps around them (it's an old cottage) but we kept all internal doors shut to keep the rooms cosy. There were also blankets on the sofas and chairs which looked esthetically pleasing but could also be used if needed. The house had it's own drive/parking which we used every day just by reversing on to it, it does back out onto a frequently used road so we found this better. The gate had some broken wire on it the first day we arrived but we came home the second day and it had been repaired and had a hook placed on it to close it. The cottage was extremely well equipped for cooking, it has a washing machine but no clothes line or airer to hang clothes on, just a little thing that could be added in. There is a hairdryer but the cord is short so you do need to sit a long way from the mirror to use it or an extension lead could be added. This did not deter from the beautiful place we stayed in.

Extended weekend break
Although the location and cottage were pleasant enough, there were a number of wood lice coming through small holes in the walls which was annoying. We would be dispersing of several each day to find more when we returned each day.
