"We liked the property, the staff and service were great.
Did not care for how thin the walls are - we could hear the people above us stomping around and our room was on the street - lots of early morning street noise."

"Arrival late at night in the rain was worrisome but all went according to plan. Site was clean, interior design and furnishings, especially the beds were lovely. And of course the view is to die for. Very close to Carmel and all the coastal attractions to the south, even dinner in Monterey was easy. Hosts were quite accomadating as well."
"This was the most magical place to stay. The view from the property is absolutely breathtaking, the photos don’t do it justice. My partner and I came here for our anniversary and it was the perfect escape from the city. The place is extremely cozy and roomy, and it has everything you need to cook out - we made steaks on the grill and the setup outside made for a perfect sunset dinner. Location is super convenient right across from Point Lobos if you’re in for a hike, or 10-15 min to Carmel if you’re looking to go explore there. One thing I would recommend is getting there before sunset - the directions to go up to the property are easy to follow, but it’s extremely dark and windy roads. Will hopefully come back again soon, we absolutely loved our stay!"
"We had a great stay! The views were unbelievable. Getting up to the house can be challenging the first couple of times since you have to drive up a small windy road to get up to it. We had a couple things come up with the house while we were there but the property communication was great and it got fixed quickly. The house does not have AC and can get warm in the middle of the day if the sun is out. The kitchen was stoked and we loved being there as a family. With all that being said, the views were unbelievable and we will definitely look into going back in the future. "
"Beautiful views and amazing wave noise, comfortable beds and brand new bathrooms. Quirky house built in the 60's(?) but everything you need for a peaceful stay. Close to Carmel and Big Sur. Check-in process was not good at all. We were not given a Gate Code so couldn't get onto the property to get inside and there is no cell coverage in the area so we had to drive a few miles away and call the office. The lockbox is difficult to open. Despite these check-in issues, we loved the house and would stay there again."
"This lovely well cared for home is exactly as described and pictured. We enjoyed every moment we spent here. It is perfectly located just off the highway between Carmel and Big Sur. Just far enough tour of town for a tranquil and peaceful stay….Nirvana! The home was exceptionally clean with high quality linens and a well furnished kitchen. The owner checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. There were no issues with the house, everything is in excellent condition but I’m sure if we had needed anything the owner would have taken care of it quickly!Oh and the view from every room was spectacular!
