"This was the perfect place for the most relaxing vacation. My husband has never been to Chattanooga. His birthday fell on the 17th, our baby girl turned 3 months on the 18th, and our 4 year old son starts Kindergarten in a few weeks. We had so much fun exploring. We went to the aquarium, let my son play in the water outside afterwards, then drove around exploring. We had lunch at the Purple Daisy, and then went to the St. Elmo’s park. Every night at The Meadows we would sit in the living room as a family and have movie nights! It was so peaceful. We will definitely be back! We throughly enjoyed our stay! "It was really a slice of Tolkien heaven. Like a bunch of theater kids turned a house into a museum from LOTR. The elf room with the Shards of Narsil is beautiful. All the lightbulbs flicker like real candles, so it’s just a really neat feeling when you walk in. I love the double queen bed set up they were so comfortable we slept great. It’s lacking a few basic appliances (regular coffee maker, hairdryer) and there’s really no where to hang clothes up if you need to do that. But all in all the pictures don’t do it justice and it was a really awesome experience and trip to Middle Earth. "

"This place was equipped better than any VRBO home we've stayed in before. It felt like staying in someone's home instead of just borrowing a cheap rental property that people did minimal upkeep on. It was very easy to cook for our large family with the kitchen gear supplied. Being able to fit everyone at the table together was a huge bonus.The driveway was not at all difficult for our minivan to maneuver up and we appreciated the woodsy scenery around the house.I was also pleasantly surprised that the downstairs had so many Lord of the Rings references. I'd only noticed one picture in the description online, but you can tell the owners have a soft spot for Tolkien when you walk through the downstairs. Our eldest called that bedroom right away! We also played the LoTR board game they provided at the house two nights in a row.We hope to stay again the next time we are in the area. Absolutely would recommend!"
