Summary:
Cornerstones is a large bright family holiday home with a south facing garden. A perfect location for boating, walking, beach activities and cycling. Convenient for Chichester, Goodwood and within walking distance of some lovely pubs and cafes. There are some beautiful walks from the house which include harbour footpaths. Local maps in the house. The log cabin is a great place for teens. Weekend bookings must include both Friday and Saturday.
The Space:
Cornerstones is a large bright family home with a sunny south facing garden. We try to make your stay as easy as possible and provide high chairs, travel cots, steps for toddlers, stair gates, children's cutlery, dishes, bowls and cups plus a good selection of toys. The kitchen is very well equiped for cooking for large groups and eating around the farmhouse table that comfortably seats 10. Cosy lounge with comfy seating. Large Flat screen 3d TV with DVD and CD player. Well equipped Kitchen with 5 burner gas hob and electric double oven and grill, dishwasher and washing machine in the kitchen, tumble dryer in log cabin. Ample floor and wall units with large integrated fridge and separate integrated freezer.
There is enough seating around the outside table for 10.
The log cabin is a great place for children of all ages to relax after a day at the beach, a surfing lesson or a long cycle ride where they might want their own space to chill out in. The log cabin has comfy seating, a TV screen and DVD player, xbox 360 (a few games provided) , mini fridge and snack area and there is also a loo and hand basin. For little ones we have a selection of toys to play with.

The Neighborhood:
Situated in the Chichester Harbour AONB and convenient for West Wittering Beach, Chichester City, Festival Theatre, Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival, Yachting in Chichester Harbour and Glorious Goodwood and more.
The Boathouse Cafe in Chichester Marina, about 20 minutes walk, serves good food and wine and has lovely views over the upper part of the harbour. The Ship at Itchenor and The Crown and Anchor at Dell Quay about 30 minutes walk away are good harbourside Pubs
Getting Around:
Number 52 and 53 regular bus service every 15 minutes to Chichester and the Witterings on the A 286. Spring and Summer ferry crossing from Itchenor to Bosham. Chichester main line railway station, 5 miles away, gives access to London Victoria direct, or London Waterloo one change at Havant takes about 90 minutes.
Cornerstones is only yards from Saltern Way( footpath and cycle path) that links Chichester to Dell Quay to Birdham to Itchenor to the Witterings.
Other Things to Note:
Weekend bookings are taken only if the booking includes Friday and Saturday.
Heat and smoke alarms are checked weekly. Fire escape windows are clearly labeled. Fire blanket in kitchen and fire extinguisher on landing. Electrics are checked and certified. Stair gates are fitted.
