All the comforts of home with the amenities of a resort! Communication with the host was stellar. We had an amazing stay and look forward to booking again!
My wife, two daughters and I had a wonderful stay at this two bedroom property. The multi-story unit was clean with many modern upgrades. We loved the master bathroom with heated floors and a steam shower. There is a nice patio on the second level with comfortable outdoor furniture. It was an impressive property that we enjoyed in Wicker Park over a weekend.
The owner was very accommodating for our family Christmas away from home by providing a Christmas tree and decorations. This location is close to many excellent restaurants and shopping including a very well stocked used bookstore! It was an easy ride on the blue line or Uber into the city. The accommodation is very upscale but comfy. We made some great memories and we would highly recommend this place to stay when visiting Chicago.
Wonderful stay! The property was clean, super comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed! The location was perfect! The host was very responsive and all information/ instructions about the property were easy to understand. We will definitely stay again next time we’re in Chicago!
The spa inspired retreat was comfortable and convenient for our Chicago visit. It’s close to the blue line train and a few buses that make it easy to get most anywhere using public transit. I love to walk and it is steps away from the Bloomingdale Trail! There are places within a short walk to eat, grocery shop, get coffee, and a fun bookstore to browse. The neighborhood felt safe and friendly. One note: the hot tub is actually a one person jetted tub. But the heated bathroom floors and large sauna/shower was luxurious.
Great location in a safe quiet neighborhood while still having a lot of walking distance restaurants and shopping. It’s nice that there’s a 1-car garage and a driveway. The space is modern & well decorated. There’s a nice little balcony on the 2nd floor with cushioned seating for 4. We stayed here with another couple. We stayed in the first floor room so this review is about that (not the amazing looking 3rd floor master bedroom spa area). The room is smaller than we expected. One perk of this br is a sliding glass door to a small patio area with table and 2 chairs. It has a bed & 1 nightstand. No dresser. No closet. Unless you try to make use of the laundry room which doesn’t have a lot of space for hanging clothes. I just used the 2 hooks on the bedroom wall and we otherwise kept our stuff in our bags. In the bathroom, the sink has no counter. So you’re working with the narrow back of the toilet, and a small ledge below the mirror. The bathroom sink faucet has knobs for hot and cold but only the cold worked; zero water comes out of the hot side. So if you want warm water, you’ll need to turn on the shower. There were only 2 towels 2 washcloths and 1 bath mat. The bedding had some stains, but it was comfortable to me and I actually slept pretty well here and I normally have terrible sleep away from home. The pillows are the kind of pillows I like (side sleeper). My husband has back trouble and he didn’t like the mattress but it was ok for me.
