This hotel was in a perfect location to explore Chicago and run the marathon. Everyone was very helpful, and we upgraded to a great suite. I would have given the hotel five stars, but it needs some sprucing up.

Lovely old hotel right in the loop. Stayed for the marathon. Great base, free tea and coffee each morning was excellent, there was also a free runners breakfast race day. Elevators are bit quirky but that was the only slight negative. Great staff, lovely building, great location.

You can see the history in the walls of this beautiful, century-old hotel. The lobby is lovely, and it’s clear that efforts have been made to preserve its original charm.
