I actually appreciated the quantity of garbage cans which is kind of silly but for as large as the place was it was the perfect amount. Easily walkable to everything especially Wrigley. The place is very spacious, we really enjoyed some of the unique features you don't often see. For example he keeps a community fridge that guests from before leave behind drinks for others to enjoy. Got to try a few beers we don't normally have for example. The bunk beds are much bigger than the pictures appear, plenty of room. Host communicated great. Would stay here again no question.

The property and its owner were perfect for our trip. It comfortably slept our large group and was in the middle of a very nice, safe, and centralized location. Senior Trip

The apartment was very spacious and we all enjoyed the energy drinks in the mini fridge. Bathrooms were clean and the rooms were very comfortable for all of us! It was great being able to relax in the living room as well with all the couches and have access to all the televisions. We were able to see everything that we wanted to see in Chicago because of how close we were to the Belmont train station! We really enjoyed our trip!

Great find, perfect for a group of friends

We booked this place so a group of us could come and see a Cubs game. It's in a great location near fun places to eat and locals to grab a drink, and about a 25 minute walk to Wrigley Field. The host is fast at responding, and very friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect family visit

Myself and my extended family had a lovely stay here, our second year in a row at the house. Everything was clean and the house is well appointed with anything you need. The location is perfect! It got a bit loud on the floor above us with parties but that’s to be expected with such a large space. Our family really enjoyed it and will be doing it again next year for our family reunion!

Great place. Close to Wrigley Field. So fuN!

We usually stay at nicer hotels downtown when we visit the city. We wanted to try something different and get a feel for living in the city for a few days. We were not disappointed. The house was SUPER clean. Very welcoming. Easy to get comfy and start relaxing and having fun. Short 20 minute walk to Wrigley field was a bonus. Lots of great spots nearby to eat and shop. You will love it!

The apartment is clean and large, stocked with everything you need. The owner is easy to communicate with and responds quickly. We took advantage of the large kitchen and dining room or walked to loads of breakfast cafes and restaurants. Stan’s Donuts, Wilde, Fancy Plants, the Chicago Diner, Uncommon Grounds, and many others. Another plus is how close it is to the lakefront. (2blocks) Daily walks/runs along the trails made for a perfect start to the day. Thanks Will!

Chicago marathon

We had 2 families of 5 stay here while we had runners in the marathon. Amazing location for spectating. Very comfortable for all of us. Only downside was the upstairs neighbors partying until 3 am despite us going up twice and asking them to be quiet. It was like a techno party in the entire house even though they only had one floor of it. Nothing the property had control over. Thankfully they were respectful the night before the race. I would absolutely stay again for the race experience it provided.

Were in town for a Cubs game. The home was at the end of a street in a cozy neighborhood, was in walking distance of every thing we needed ( lake front, many restaurants, neighborhood market, and was easy walk to Wrigley). The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, great water pressure in showers, were on a weekend getaway so didn't use the kitchen other than for coffee, drinks and snacks, but it was well stocked with kitchen equipment if you were wanting to cook. We are a pretty low Maintenace family, so didn't need to reach out to Will for too much, asked for a pizza place recommendation and permission to leave luggage on property after checking out for a couple hours until our train left, and he was quick to respond with his answers. Overall a great place, hoping it is available next year as our Cubs games are an annual September family trip.

Spring Break in Chicago

Our family of 3 + a guest and a couple of dogs spent a week in Chicago. Our son is a baseball player and didn’t want to go to the beach…he wanted to go to Chicago for Opening Day at Wrigley. What a terrific week. “Club Salon” was a perfect home base for a week of baseball, pizza, museums and a fantastic musical at the nearby Apollo Theater (easily walkable). The boys walked to Wrigley every morning to play catch. The neighborhood is fantastic for dog walking. There are several excellent restaurants (not just pizza) within walking distance and a couple of grocery stores close by…including at TJ’s. The unit itself was wonderful. Clean, spacious, well-equipped, with convenient parking for a single vehicle. The beds and pillows were comfortable. While we did not need our host during the stay for any issues, Bill was responsive within a few minutes when we told him we’d be checking out early on our departure date. We look forward to visiting Chicago in the future for more Cubs W’s. I hope Club Salon is available when we return. DM and Family
