The hotel has plenty of dinning establishments around that we could walk to. They were able to store our luggage for us until our room was ready. The room was large for a hotel room. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity presents itself.

The location is great if you plan to walk around Wrigleyville, otherwise this place is not good. It is listed as three star hotel and I booked it at a price in line with that, but it’s a motel 8 experience. Room was old and grungy with zero light, and had a bad smell. There were stains on the mattress and the carpet was disgusting. Would not recommend this place, just spring for something nicer in the neighborhood and enjoy your trip a lot more.

The girl at the front desk was very friendly and I really appreciated that she held my luggage while I attended a ballgame and she called to let me know my room was available earlier than expected! The room was larger than expected and was full of so many snacks and goodies and reasonably priced

The property was close to my daughter's apartment. It is so close to public transportation. You could hear the El from my front facing room, but it wasn't too bad. The rooms could use updating, but were sufficient for my use. Loved the upgrade of a bottle of wine. Will stay here again.

It was a nice stay. Quiet most of the time. Until pipes bang on the walls. Sometimes I can hear other people. Beside that it was great. People where nice; specially cleaning crew.

This hotel is unsafe. The door to my room barely shut all the way and the deadbolt was broken. I had to shove the couch against the door to feel somewhat safe. Also, the front entrance gives an illusion of safety, however I saw many non-guests enter and just walk around. The towels in my room had blonde hairs all over it and I’m a brunette so.. I was so exhausted when I got there that I didn’t do more investigating or call for a room switch but it was very unsettling. All in all, if you are like me and you’re a young woman worried about being safe, this is not the hotel for you!!!

I liked the location in the heart of Lakeview. I religiously use CTA when I travel to Chicago. Landed at Midway airport, took the Orange Line to Roosevelt on the Red Line to Belmont. The hotel four doors down from the station. The hotel is definitely vintage but well maintained and clean. I found it a value and will use it again.
