The good news is that the house was immaculate—very clean, comfortable, and everything worked smoothly from check-in through our stay. The owner reached out and was easy to communicate with. We live in the next town over from Glenview and rented the home for a month for my aunt’s extended visit.Our concerns were relatively minor but worth noting. The listing tagline reads, “Amazing mid-term rental—entire home in Glenview,” but the property is actually in Northbrook. While the description later mentioned Northbrook, the headline was misleading. It felt a bit like a bait-and-switch since the rate seemed more in line with Glenview pricing. Perhaps the property falls within a Glenview school district, but the address and setting were clearly Northbrook.Additionally, although the house sits on a residential street, it’s a corner lot right off a busy road, which detracted from the “premium” feel. The décor, while clean and functional, was somewhat dated.Overall, the home was spotless and served its purpose well, but it didn’t quite live up to the “premium Glenview” promise—and a lower price would have felt more appropriate.
