"Breakfast was nice, room was adequate for one night, staff very helpful and polite"

"Staying here was amazing. The room was just what I needed for my one night stay in Durham. The bus stop wasn’t far away and was very easy to get into the city center. I arrived a little bit early and they didn’t even flinch to get me into my room. Highly recommend!"

"Great pub and spacious room enough to accommodate people. Very friendly owner and staff to make your stay very comfortable and homely."

"Lovely place to stay staff and food were excellent "

"The room was great and facilities clean and well-maintained. This was our final stop along the Hadrian’s Wall Path and a welcome upgrade from campsites along the way. Good value for money and a lively restaurant nearby."
