"Wonderful accommodation, with everything you need for a relaxing stay.Set in some lovely gardens and Ted the dog is very friendly.Ideally situated for visiting many attractions within easy drive. Plenty of National Trust sites locally, can recommend Quarry Bank. RHS Bridgewater is also worth a visit as is the amazing Anderton Boat Lift.Lots of places close to eat, can recommend The Dysart Arms at Bunbury for Sunday lunch and Snugburys for fabulous ice cream!Lesley and Nick are wonderful hosts, very helpful and knowledgeable.We would definitely recommend the Hen House."

"There was rubbish under one of the side tables and the head boards were disgusting, the kettle would not click off unless switched off at the wall. Blinds were broken and the walls were badly in need of paint. The water did not get hot out of the tap. Staff were nice, but room was not worth the money, and breakfast consisted of a loaf of bread and a coffee machine."

"A Lovely cottage with plenty of space. Very nice and clean, highly recommended. A little tricky to find in the dark so could possibly do with larger signage. "

"We had a wonderful stay here - family of 4 and dog. The cottage is as seen on the photos; modern, clean and well equipped and the gardens are big for chilling out and the dog. Location is excellent - the forest and train station are just across the road and Liverpool, Chester and Cheshire Oaks are close by. Car parking is secure with large wooden gates and the area is peaceful. We will definitely return. "
