Awesome Bearfootin adventure
Where do I start. The property was beautiful, the seasonal change and the leaf colors were amazing. The cabin was so modern and very cozy. There were deer in the backyard in the morning and the fireplace and cool days made the visit perfect since we are from Florida. The vibe of the Blue Ridge area was very relaxed and the fishing in the local streams was fantastic. We loved the get away to this beautiful area. I highly recommend this property to anyone who loves the mountains and the outdoors.
Beautiful cabin and location that met all our needs. Everything as stated on listing. Reminder to be prepared to complete a downpayment for damages or one-time fee to cover potential damages through a 3rd party. The 3rd party used had some hassles but property manager was easy to communicate with and we got it all worked out. Cabin was extremely clean and we loved the hot tub and outside amenities. Paddle boat and canoe were available but not in water so we did not use. The pond was beautiful though and we saw beavers which was really cool! Would definitely stay there again!
This was a very cute, beautiful little cabin. We loved everything about the cabin and location. My husband spent lots of time fishing in the pond. Loved having a canoe to paddle around the pond. There is geese that wonder around on the property. We saw deer and enjoyed the lighting bugs at night while sitting in the hot tub. The communication with the property manger is excellent. All our needs were addressed right away. Hiking near by to falls and horse back riding down the road that was super fun. There is Mountain Side Market down the road that grills smash burgers on Fridays and the weekends that is excellent. Nice friendly community. If we ever come back to this area we would love to stay at this cabin again. We hated to leave.
The Property Manager was very communicative. Making sure we were prepared to arrive and understood how to get in. He followed up with us the first day to make sure we were happy and have us info to contact if we needed anything. And followed up again before we left to ensure we understood the check out. The Cabin was spotless and very comfortable. Its located such that we had day trips to Ellijay, Blue Ridge and Dahlonaga. Plenty of hiking trails near as well. We loved the hot tub after a busy day. We didn't get to use the firepit but it is lovely. It sits right next to the pond very pretty. Area is quiet and they have canoe or pale boat available, but we didn't get to use that either. We will definitely be back and hopefully won't be so busy so we can take advantage of the firepit and canoe. Definitely recommend!
Our host was very accommodating, and easy to communicate with. The house was very well maintained and well stocked. The pond on property was charming and the hot tub was perfect. Day trips from the house were easy to find and it made for a great weekend of exploring!

Peaceful and relaxing!
The cabin was everything it portrayed in the photos. The yard was great for the kids to run around in and they loved fishing off the dock. We had some snow flurries as well a few mornings which was icing on the cake. The cabin is in the perfect spot, there are hiking trails nearby without having to travel an hour. The home was cozy. As a family of 5 with 3 kids in all different stages of life -it was nice to enjoy spending time together without the distractions of life. Thank you again for making this a memorable week for our family.
Fun location right on a beautiful pond with lots of outdoor space for the kids to run and play!

Great little cabin for families
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin over Thanksgiving! Our kids enjoyed fishing in the pond, although we didn't catch any fish in it, Mercier Orchards apple farm was a short drive away and we caught bluegill there. We paddled around the pond on the canoe and the kids likely would have jumped in the water if it wasn't so cold! It's close to Cowgirl Up Stables where we all got on horses and rode through trails and streams and had a blast! Blue Ridge is about a 20 minute drive away. Overall, I'd say we didn't have any problems were happy we chose this cabin.
We enjoyed our time in the cabin very much. Charming, cozy, and just what we were hoping for.

Wonderful family getaway!
The cabin was everything we wanted and more! Tucked away but not 100000ft up a mountain lol. We loved having the extra property so the kids could run around freely! My husband loved the pond and fire pit out back! My favorite was the gas fireplace that lit up with no effort and was SO cozy! The cabin had everything to cook and eat at home. The shower was comfortable and clean and had great pressure and hot water, all very important! Oh! The washer and dryer was a HUGE plus! I was able to have everything washed, dried and clean before going home! Made getting home and unpacking a breeze definitely recommend!! Cherry Log has a very small population however very close to 2 great city’s with everything you need ! We all really enjoyed our family vacation and expect to be back!
It was beautiful had a amazing time our only problem it was a little under stocked for six people but other than that it was perfect we all had a amazing time and it is a beautiful place definitely will come again...
Very cozy cabin on the lake. The gas fire place provided the perfect ambiance for those chilly nights. The firepit by the lake was also nice for gathering and making stores. We really enjoyed ourselves.
My family really enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was only about a 15 minute drive to the touristy towns and within an hour to most of the popular hikes. The road leading to the cabin was rocky but did not require 4WD. The first thing we noticed when we walked into the cabin was how clean it was. The cabin came fully stocked with lots of towels, dishware, and cleaning supplies. My kids loved the loft. The cabin did have a hot tub, peddle boat, and canoe but it was too cold to use them, we got plenty of use out of the fireplace though. We even got to see some deer come out of the trees in the yard while eating breakfast. This is definitely a cabin we would hit up in the summer to take full advantage of everything it has to offer.
We stayed here with our 3 year old for an extended weekend. Everything was above and beyond perfect! Check-in was easy, owner/manager was responsive, and the cabin itself was EXACTLY what we needed. Lots of nice "extras" were provided, plenty of dishes/cookware. We roasted marshmallows and sausages over the fire pit, and played "Pooh sticks" on the tiny little bridge over the creek in the back yard. Saw 4 white tailed deer and lots of birds. We explored around the lake with the paddle boat (there was even a life jacket available which we used for the kiddo), soaked in the hot tub looking at the stars, and used the gas fire place which only required touch of a button to operate 😊 beds super comfy, towels nice and fluffy, toiletries were provided, and the cabin was beautifully laid out! We definitely hope to stay here again soon. Thank you so much for a wonderfully relaxing experience!!!
We checked in to this cabin after 6pm, brought in groceries, fished in the pond and then my husband went to bed. I stayed up a bit later and I kept smelling gas in the house and it was making feel a bit nauseous, and since I don’t have gas in my home, I messaged to host if it was normal to smell gas? Host told me to check the fireplace pilot and the stove. Well I found that the stove was on! The gas had been on for hours. I had to wake up my husband to be sure he was ok and then open up all doors and windows to air out the house. Some windows wouldn’t open and others didn’t have screens. I was debating calling fire dept. I didn’t sleep at all that night and kept window open rest of stay just in case. We could have gotten very ill or even died in our sleep if I had not stayed up instead of going straight to bed like my husband. So BEWARE if you stay here and check to be sure the gas is not on. Also, host is adamant you put trash bags in the black cans outside. The black can was already overstuffed with previous tenants trash and stinking and buggy. And the Black can was located on a rickety falling apart unsafe shed porch.
