"Staff was nice. The room was in terrible shape. Multiple spots of prior ceiling leaks with plaster coming loose molding in front of sink loose with possible mold underneath tub calking needed to be redone with mold in cracks Over one dozen large brown cigarette burns on the edge of the tub. Shower tile was sea foam and likely outdated. The bed had a hair on it."

"Scottish Inns Collinsville is easy to get to, has straight-forward parking, comfortable queen beds, and heating-cooling units that look worn out but functioned fine inside the 2 rooms we rented. Room access cards did not work properly, required multiple trips to the front office, causing the poor lady in charge to jump through hoops replacing key cards and batteries in the card-programming machine multiple times. "Me and my sport team of 28 people stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The service at the front desk (Sam) was more than accommodating. "Everything was really nice. The staff was very responsive. I am disturbed that telephones are in the room but are not connected, and in my case, don't even have a connection in the room at all. I enjoyed breakfast, and the lady who prepared it was really nice, but would love to have had regular eggs (not fried hard) or even hard boiled ones (I don't prefer scrambled lol)."
