Heritage hideaway-Secluded Log Cabin

  • Heritage Hideaway is the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with loved ones. A peaceful and scenic setting to celebrate an anniversary or birthday, or just escape the daily grind. Located on 25 acres of steep bluffs and mature hardwood forest, our main cabin is a fully furnished and modern Amish built log cabin.

    A true hideaway, the cabin is tucked back off the main road, yet close to many recreational opportunities. Relax around a campfire or listen to the sounds of nature. Take in the scenic views and gather with family where distractions disappear.

    Base rates are based on two person occupancy, additional guest fees apply. For groups larger than six, see our separate listing for our Tiny House located on the opposite side of the property: VRBO#873511. Note there is a discount for weekly stays (7 night minimum).

Another great visit to Heritage Hideaway

My wife and I have stayed at heritage hideaway for several years and hope to return for several more. It is a perfect getaway for a couple or for a small family who want a quiet retreat in the country but close to Lanesboro and all that it has to offer.

This cabin is a gem! So close to so much fun. Check in was a breeze……the charcoal grill was great and they thought of everything. Fresh farm eggs. Would love to try it in the winter. Very tastefully done, a very good value.Prepare to relax.

This was our 7th stay at this property. Our experience was wonderful. This is truly a secluded property. We did have a few visitors though. A family of deer wandered across the driveway. A couple mature bald eagles share the skies above the property, and perched on a tree at the edge of the property. There were numerous species of birds going about their day. The cabin is as advertised. The hosts are very nice, and keep a well maintained property. We highly recommend a stay at the Heritage Hideaway. It's a great place to unwind at.

Awesome cabin away from it all

This was my 2nd time here with my cousin. We love this cabin so much. It’s far enough away from people and town but not too far that we couldn’t go do things. The area is so beautiful with all of its hills and farms. We went to 4 state parks in 4 days and did a lot of hiking and exploring. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic secluded cabin

This cabin was the perfect place for us during a weekend wedding visit. It is very secluded and off the beaten path with amazing views and peacefulness. The cabin had all the amenities of home and was very comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again!
