"This place has gone downhill since our last stay. Beds were rock hard. Bathroom dingy with rusty sink drain and tub was stained. Mirror frame pealing paint because there’s no exhaust fan in bathroom for the humidity. TV was the size of a computer monitor! Not likely that we’ll stay there again! "

"There was a bit of a smell, I'm not sure what it was, but the building didnt smell very nice. The room could use some TLC, as it looked a bit rough. The receptionist was not real welcoming, but seemed glad that I had registered on-line. I did not submit my ID on line as I don't like putting that kind of sensitive info out like that."

"Very clean and quiet. The Kitchenette was very convenient and well stocked. The evening music in the lobby gave the feel of a much more expensive hotel. Will definetly stay again when visiting the area!"

"Staff was super friendly. However, the room we stayed in, the curtain didn’t cover The whole windows. The sun was shining bright at 6 am. We didn’t get in until 1 am so we really needed our sleep. Please fix the curtains in room 113!"

"Sadly, the room was not very clean, the a/c heater unit only worked on fan. The buttons to adjust heat and cooling and on/off were gone. Had to unplug it to keep cold air from blowing all night. Got down to 26 degrees outside at night. Room was chilly. No hair dryer. Half used container of shower gel. Stained towels. Funky smell. Have upcoming business this summer in Northfield, but won't be coming back to this hotel."

"Great place to stay while visiting colleges with my daughter. Close to both St. Olaf and Carleton. Front desk staff was kind to lend us an umbrella when it looked like rainy for our college tour."
