"Easy walk to Mayo clinic! The outdoor patio was a great place to unwind after long days of appointments at the Mayo clinic."

"Internet was good most of the time, but there was so much construction happening and there was no parking available without walking a couple of blocks away and crossing the roads under construction. The actual room and beds were great."

"This was our 7th stay at this property. Our experience was wonderful. This is truly a secluded property. We did have a few visitors though. A family of deer wandered across the driveway. A couple mature bald eagles share the skies above the property, and perched on a tree at the edge of the property. There were numerous species of birds going about their day. The cabin is as advertised. The hosts are very nice, and keep a well maintained property. We highly recommend a stay at the Heritage Hideaway. It's a great place to unwind at."

"There’s a lot of street work in progress around the hotel right now; but the inconvenience is manageable. You can’t beat the price and convenience for proximity and accessibility to the Mayo Clinic. "

"resturants near by are fast food or mediocre, except Caribou Coffee in Lobby which is comparable to Starbucks (Don't have Caribou where we live). ..better to go over to Grand Kahler for meals. Gave 4 on Area around Hotel averaging 3 to shops surrounding hotel but 5 because its just across the street to Gonda bldg at Mayo, where all my appts were."
