"We were on a house hunting expedition and stayed with Corinne and Alain for 2 weeks. They are the kindest nicest people you shall ever meet. Their property is in fabulous setting by the river and laden with flowers and herbs. Quiet and tranquil. Peaceful. If you love to cook outdoors, the bbq set up is fantastic. There are 2 great butchers close by and a patisserie. Lots of daily markets in different villages close by and stores like carrefour and Intermarche for other items. Lots of hot water for showers and well equipped kitchen. Lots of glasses and plates. Nothing else to say except we bought a home and intend to stay in contact as friends in the future. Best hosts and people ever. Beautiful property and setting. "

"This is a lovely quiet location with excellent, helpful hosts. The apartment is lovely and well equipped. The yard is very picturesque and welcoming. There is a great small grocery store in Genissac 5 minutes away. The location is close to St. Emilion about 30 minutes away with several other towns nearby and chateaux for wine tours and tastings. Cecile's recommendations were very helpful especially for La Caff Cuisine restaurant in Branne. "

"The house has a light, spacious design and decor, making it easy to live in. We appreciated the outdoor eating area, especially the useful awning to protect against midday sun. The pool was a good size, with the robot cleaner working well, and there was comfortable poolside lounging seating. The house was overall well-equipped although some areas may soon need a refresh e.g. the kitchen units and the showers. The location is an asset. The immediate surroundings are pleasant and peaceful but not isolated with the vineyard setting adding interest. It is well placed for visiting the Bordeaux region and for accessing the area of the Dordogne around Bergerac. St Émilion station is only 5 minutes away with regular services into Bordeaux. Nearby St Sulpice de Faleyrens has a good boulangerie and restaurant; Branne has a wider range of shops and restaurant; Libourne has an excellent Sunday market and a full range of shops and supermarkets. The welcome and information from the host was very good as was communication throughout. "
