"We loved our stay at this property. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They provided us with a delicious dinner on out first night and waking up to breakfast each morning was such a treat. Everything is home made and fresh! I also had a lovely massage which I would highly recommend. The pool area is relaxing and picturesque, while our gite had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hope we can come backa again soon, "

"We chose the Hotel de Bordeaux for our visit to Bergerac for its location and amenities. It did not disappoint; excellent and helpful staff, brilliant location with an easy walk to the old city, a private secure car park, quiet comfortable room, and a good breakfast. "What a breathtaking property. From the moment you walk through the big green gate, it’s an incredible place. We were a mixed group 20, friends and family, ranging from 0-50 years old. The property itself is filled with history but with lovely little modern twists, mainly the kitchen and bathrooms. It’s not obvious from the photos but there is also a large barn with a table tennis table in which was a nice hub for socialising. The pool is large and fenced off to stop any children accidentally falling in. The hosts stayed on the site however in a separate building. It was lovely having them there if we needed anything and they gave us lots of little tips but did not invade on our privacy. They made every effort to make us feel at home. The local Sunday market they recommended was a true gem.Also were 2 beautiful dogs on the property, very friendly and big hits with our group. Although the property is very close to the airport, would highly recommend renting cars as taxis were slow and expensive. "
"We have just returned from staying here, the photos really don't do it justice, it is beautiful and so peaceful. The pool made our holiday and even on a hot day it didn't get too hot in there as you can open all the doors. The kids loved an evening swim with the disco lights on and music. The pool table was a brilliant addition as was the table tennis. Ideally situated for day trips, Bergerac was only 25 mins away. We found we had to pre book tables at local restaurants as they do get very busy. Thierry and Martine were lovely hosts, on hand to contact if you needed them and very quick to respond to any queries but left you to enjoy your holiday in the most beautiful surroundings."
