Perfect hotel for Board game enthusiasts!

Lovely hotel, Great location less than 2miles from Bergerac Airport. Gentleman on reception Welcoming, Friendly and happy to help us with anything we needed (spoke perfect English also). We had two Superior Themed Rooms which were beautifully decorated. We did have an issue with one of the rooms previous guest smoking in. Gentleman on reception sorted it out straight away, offering us two other rooms to choose from and was more than apologetic and helpful. Board Game themed rooms which were really well decorated. Restaurant conveniently located right next to the Hotel, which was also beautifully decorated, food lovely and staff friendly. Will 100% stay again if we are ever back in the area.

A workman started metal grinding just outside of my room @ 9:10am The website was a bait & switch- when I paid. I was told that the hotel was temporarily closed and chose another property after I had paid. No Good For Expedia, plus it was 20 euros more than what I had selected.

Le concept est « sympa » mais 115€ + 13€ le petit dej la nuit pour un tel établissement, c’est franchement exagéré et ça ne les vaut clairement pas. L’accueil est irréprochable mais la qualité de l’établissement n’est pas au rdv. La salle de bain est grotesque (il y a une raclette parce l’eau coule jusque dans la chambre, on accède aux WC les pieds dans l’eau, c’est n’importe quoi). Le lit bien que petit pour 2 (140cm) est d’un très grand confort et les draps très agréable, j’ai fort bien dormi. Le petit dej ne vaut pas non plus les 13€ payés. Globalement très déçu même si j’ai très bien dormi (n’est ce pas le principal???)

Photos du site attractives mais loin de la réalité

Draps sales, j’ai du dormir sur la couette avec un plaid, vmc sale, traces de dentifrice à côté du miroir J’ai signalé l’incident le matin, une erreur est toujours possible. Mais aucun petit mot d’excuse ou attention particulière, c’est dommage. Côté restaurant, ce n’est pas à la hauteur des intitulés de plats ( tomate cœur de bœuf qui n’en est pas), viande pas locale alors que nous sommes dans une si belle région. Un plus pour le petit déjeuner, c’est un des rares hôtels où j’avais du lait végétal !
