"We arrived after several days of busy travel to a restful paradise! The architecture immediately started relieving the stress of travel and the beautifully maintained grounds and peaceful atmosphere helped us regain a sense of peace in the busy hustle and bustle. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to get away from stress and just breath freely for a few nights. We felt completely safe the whole stay and were treated with great kindness and deference."

"The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. The availability of a small kitchen facility in the room was not advertised but very welcome. The TV channel 'list' in the room gave the impression that only 'local' channels were available when in fact (by luck) I found there were many more international news channels, etc. Which was a bonus. The location was very quiet (end of September) but well situated. Overall I had great visit and would not consider anywhere else should I return to the area in the future. Thanks "

They were great to have around to help my family and i with planning our route to hit all the spots relevant to the allied invasion of 1944."

"Paul is an excellent host and speaks good English. The Gite is a lovely little cottage suitable for a couple. It does include some steep steps that will mean it is not suitable for every one. Its location makes it a good quiet base within easy reach of all the Normandy Beaches and Monuments. Anyone arriving on a Sunday should come with a supply of food because there is nowhere open locally on Sunday afternoon."

"Very new build, close neighbourhood to shore road in Asnelles. Grocery and gas right in front, right in the middle of all things Normandy."

"We had a very comfortable stay. Georges was quick to respond to our questions. Language barrier was eased with the help of a handheld translator. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the downstairs lounge area. Kitchen well equipped, although we were unable to get the coffee maker to work, but we were able to make coffee using provided French press. All bedrooms are upstairs, as is one full bathroom. The downstairs bathroom has a shower and toilet, but red lighting is not ideal for putting on makeup, etc. Wifi was spotty. Lovely, quiet neighborhood and we fully enjoyed our stay."
