Pet Friendly & Convenient 2 Bedroom with private fenced in yard and Hottub

NO PET FEE! We would love to host you and your dogs! Newly renovated Yard with grass and patio. Close to everything but tucked under a canopy of trees, chirping birds and squirrels, you feel like you are in a Bird House! Clean and simple 2-bedroom, pet-friendly guest suite with private access, fenced in yard & Hottub! Cozy space minutes to downtown, beaches, and the airport. New shared heated pool available for your use!

The inside space consists of 2 bedrooms, hallway, kitchenette, bathroom and shared laundry room. There is no inside living room space but we have worked hard to make the screened deck as comfortable as possible for year-round enjoyment

NOTE: This is a pet friendly unit. We have a thorough cleaning company who cleans after each guest but sometimes dog hairs may be present or a general dog odor (we do not use harsh chemical fragrant sprays). If you are averse to all things pets... this is not the unit for you!

The screened in deck has a tall ceiling to keep air flow going but bugs and rain out. There is a fan, outdoor propane heater and gas fire table to keep you warm in the winter. There is a full-size futon (great for afternoon naps!) and couch seating to watch some TV while also being outside. We have many nice days in Charleston and the deck is great for outdoor living! in addition, you have a private fenced yard, inflatable 4 person Hottub, dining set and outdoor shower to enjoy. Your yard is separated from ours with a 6ft vinyl privacy fence.

Kitchenette includes a mini refrigerator with freezer, kitchen sink, microwave, air fryer, nugget ice machine, toaster, blender, electric hot plate and cooking pot/utensils. Keurig and French press included with coffee and creamer. This is NOT a full kitchen so if you plan to make a lot of cooked meals here this listing is probably not the best for you. You're welcome to grill meals outside when it's nice out! There is a brand new 3 burner chargriller griddle grill.

Each room is equipped with a portable fan, ceiling fan, sound machine, full length mirror and TV connected to Roku and WIFI. Both rooms have a desk, chair and mirror for remote work or getting ready to go out. There is a twin blow up mattress and plenty of extra pillows and blankets should you need it.

Full bathroom with tub and shower. Lots of towels and natural/fragrance free toiletries for you to use!

Enjoy the outdoor shower after the beach and the inflatable hottub on a cool evening under the string lights

Note : this is a guest suite that is attached to my home. the Floorplan is such that we can't really hear one another but wanted to reiterate. no parties allowed.

Dog Owners - Please clean up after yourself :) I have a crate available for you to use. If you give me some notice before you arrive I will have it set up for you. Poo bags and water/food bowls are in your space

Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and towels are available for your use

Homey, great for dogs, awesome trip!

My dogs absolutely loved the fenced in outdoor space! The rooms were homey and the interior was clean. The host responded promptly to texts and questions. There was a problem with the AC but the host contacted her HVAC company ASAP, got it fixed and gave us some money back. Overall, great experience and would definitely stay again!

A relaxing pet friendly getaway

Natalie was an amazing host and an outstanding massage therapist! The highlight of the trip was an early morning couples massage while a gentle rain fell on the tin roof of the outdoor screened in porch. Her place is centrally located, very pet friendly and easy driving distance to downtown Charleston and surrounding areas. Also very close to Folly Beach and Bowens Island. She was very responsive to our requests and even gave us a late checkout. Thank you Natalie for everything! When we come back to Charleston, we’d love to stay at your place again!

2nd honeymoon

Such a cute, romantic little property! My husband and I enjoyed the weekend here while visiting my daughter. We’ve been married 2 weeks today and visited the mountains after our wedding so this was a nice change of pace and scenery! We absolutely loved the screened in porch and hot tub! So relaxing and peaceful! The flowers and painted fence were so pretty as well. The property was well stocked and convenient to restaurants and activities. We didn’t bring our pet but it was very well equipped if we had chosen to. Will definitely recommend to others traveling to Charleston!

Outstanding place to stay

One of the best short term rentals I’ve stayed in! Check-in couldn’t have been simpler, and the place itself is terrific. It was great for our two bulldogs - especially the screened-in porch area that stayed cool enough for them to hang out in all day. Lots of bugs but that’s just Charleston. Everything was clean and the space is very well-supplied. Would stay there again 100%.

This was my best experience in Charleston besides the food.The host was amazing at helping with anything we needed and my car wouldn't start The last day visiting but he was there to help.This is The only place I would stay in Charleston.The outside living room was the cherry on top.

Perfect!

My dog and I were only there for one night, but it was absolutely perfect for the both of us. Very peaceful, private and relaxing location. The screened porch and fenced in back yard were perfect for my dog to safely enjoy while I was out for business meetings. An easy 1 minute drive to enjoy some Home Team BBQ, complete with good food, good tunes and some pretty awesome Widespread Panic and Grateful Dead memorabilia on the walls. I will definitely look to book again one day. Natalie was awesome.

Screen porch was the highlight

Overall this was a decent stay. I loved the porch with the cozy setup and the backyard. That’s the main reason I decided to book. I was hoping to be able to sleep outside, but the mattress was too hard for me. The location was nice. It was close to the beach and Charleston. The only things that would keep me from coming back are the pressure of the shower, it was way too intense and the tub didn’t drain quick enough. The smell was musky and not the most pleasant.

Birdsnest

It is a special little place, in the sense that it does feel private and cozy. It is an old neighborhood so we weren't comfortable walking around after dark . It is a very convenient location if your're driving to the places you plan to go to. I love that they allow dogs of any size, we have a Bernese Mt. Dog and many properties don't allow over 40lbs. The fenced in area was perfect for letting her out at night. And the screened porch is great.....nice set up We were only there for two nights, but we will go back again, hopefully when it's cooler

Shared house with owner

This is an older home that has been renovated and is a mix of old (bathroom) and new floors, finishes, etc. My main concern was that it was a house divided into back and front, with the owners living in the front. Only separated by an adjoining door. Just my personal preference but I prefer a separate space. The porch is nice but be aware it is the only place to sit and socialize. Inside the home is only bedrooms, bathroom, shared laundry and the tiny kitchen. Evening drinks on the patio were quite chilly even with the heaters on. Would be a great space especially in the warm weather. Mildew smell when you walk in. Kitchen area is very small. Really only enough space to cook single meals or toast and coffee.

Great Short Stay

I was in town for a quick stay, and my dog and I were pleased with how tidy and accommodating Natalie's place was. We definitely would've spent more time on the screened in porch if it wasn't peak summer. I'll definitely check here first whenever I'm back in town.
