Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Quick getaway

Super cute house and located perfectly to a lot of restaurants, dive bars, most importantly...bookstores. It was a great stay, we really enjoyed it!

Great Location

This place is in the the perfect location and also has its’ own parking spot which is really nice if you have been to downtown Charleston. The rooftop is very nice and there are plenty of places to get food and small items.

Quaint little home

The home was very nice and tidy and the check-in/checkout process was very easy. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, definitely recommend the pizza shop on the corner as the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Good time in Charleston

We had a great time. Parked the car and walked everywhere we wanted to go. Construction across the road but it was quiet at night. The apartment was very clean and well stocked. I wasn’t crazy about the shower set up. You had to close a wooden blind in order to have privacy and we struggled with that. One of those kits that make the windows opaque would fix that

Quick Charleston Getaway

Great two days of shopping and eating in Charleston. We’d book again. Great location one block off King Street. Easy walk to everything we wanted. The townhome was so cute and well appointed! Loved the clawfoot tub!

Great location and amazing space for me and my girlfriend. Walked to the Daily which we always love for breakfast. Instructions were clear and host was in contact all stay. Appliances were nice and bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this stay!

Perfect location

The property was very clean and had everything that we needed for the week stay, we were within walking distance to literally almost everything for downtown Charleston. The local pizza shop next-door was very good and there are many other restaurants very very close. Overall, it was a great week.

Clean, cozy & great location

We really enjoyed our stay in this property. The property manager communication was excellent before and during our stay. House is perfect for a couple. Very cozy and clean updated house. The location is awesome! Neighborhood pizza place & coffee shop steps from home. Short walk to all the great restaurants and shopping on King Street.

Great location and amenities

This was a great property to stay in Charleston. Street parking was easy and the Vrbo offered private parking one block down. The place was insanely clean , smelled great, and the AC kept up wonderfully with hot temps. Location could not be beat. 3 blocks to king street and hundreds of restaurants. There was about a 20 minute easy walk to Charleston market. 20 minute drive to folly beach . We rented bikes right outside the rental and had lots of fun rolling around town. We loved having rooftop deck for coffee, mini fridge for beers, and multiple levels for space . Rental had washer/dryer including tide pods, plenty of toilet paper and paper towels, very soft and comfortable bedding . Communication and checkin was very efficient and easy

Exactly as pictured

This was a great house for 2 people. It's small but it's exactly as pictured and they made great use of the space. The rooftop is cool and really pretty but there is not much to look at so we never went up there. The kitchen is stocked with all the things you need to cook and the stove is much bigger than we thought from seeing it in pictures. There were very few plates/bowls/cups when we got there, but they got us what we needed very quickly. There are 3 houses on the property and those things had just been moved to a different house. The property manager David is VERY easy to communicate with. This house is in a neighborhood that is what we would say is "up and coming" and going through a great transition. There are an equal amount of beautiful houses to houses that are literally falling down. There is an ordinace in Charleston that because of the history of homes, they can't just tear them down. They literally have to let them fall down before they can be redone. The area felt very safe even though it's an area in transition. There are a lot of young/college-aged kids around and lots of people out and about, but it was relatively quiet. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there agian.

Great little pad next to everything

Great place to stay tucked back off of King Street close to everything you'd need to kick off a day in Charleston. Nice secluded rooftop and comfortable bedroom and living room. Booked for 2, and would've been comfortable for that many, but absolutely perfect for just one person. Communication with the host was very responsive, informative and helpful. Definitely added to the faves.

The property was so cute and the perfect size for me. I stayed in the B unit. The bed was so comfortable and the house was spotless. Only a 20 minute, super easy, walk from downtown and there was even a really nice coffee shop two blocks away for morning coffee and breakfast sandwiches. 10/10 highly recommend this spot

The home is beautiful, roof top deck is amazing for coffee in the early morning or relaxing in the afternoon. It's located in the perfect spot to walk around Charleston and see all the sites.

Explore Charleston and its Southern Charm

The house was exactly as described and perfect for our stay. Historic Charleston has limited parking but we had a dedicated off site parking spot right around the corner. D’Allesandro’s Pizza was literally 3 doors down and the smell of the pizza cooking had us craving pizza. BTW, we had it twice and it was amazing. If you rent a car, rent a small compact car to get around Charleston. If going down near Calhoun street or further south, we parked in the Cumberland St Parking garage and it was reasonable. If you go anywhere north of Calhoun street, you can easily walk there in 15-20 minutes. The restaurants are either high end or bar food atmosphere. We like The Rarebit and The Griffon restaurant. If you like the old homes, then Charleston Historic District is your place. We parked along Murray blvd and enjoyed walking the neighborhood along with many other people just taking in the sights of the big beautiful homes. If you choose to go to the beach, we chose the beach at Isle of Palms. You park free along the road in designated areas and there are plenty. Then we walked through beach access points. Very nice beach area and it was not crowded. Back to our stay at our Vrbo. It was perfect for us. There is construction across the street but they are there during the day and we weren’t. We took off to enjoy the history Charleston has to offer. The tub is a claw foot tub and is a high step to get in but hey, it’s a claw foot. The rooftop is great for chilling out. Great place !!!!!
