"It suited our needs for the night "

"Large very clean well appointed room. Bridgeport is comparable to the big city hotels with a good range of amenities (though a microwave would have been nice) and a lovely view of the Murray. My only very minor negative was in the main dinning room which is large and promoted as a bit upmarket. We were slightly surprised to find meals had to ordered and paid for up at the bar - the same as at the ordinary pub where we had lunch. Taking the order at the table seems more in keeping with their aspirations to be a better class of restaurant - nothing big but poorly thought out and perhaps saving one staff member out of many. Otherwise though Bridgeport is all very nicely done."

"It was a bit cold with the bed head under the window so I had to shift ends of the bed to pillows where feet go. The heater was not that great"
