"We came to the Smokies to enjoy some time with our two adopted daughters. It was amazing. We played games, shopped and ate lunch at the Old Mill. The cabin was glorious. The view was amazing and the cabin was beautiful. Plenty of room and extremely clean. We will be back. The host was very courteous and quick to answer any questions."

"Cabin was awesome. 5 minutes from Gatlinburg. Grocery store at the base of the ridge. We had a blast. Saw a number of bears! View was nice, but trees have grown up blocking a lot of it. Still a great place."

"This was our second stay in this cabin. We love it. It is so cozy and beautiful. Very well kept. Clean and private. Love the Hot tub and the upstairs porch. You are literally up in the trees. Anna, the host is so easy to work with and she is so kind and available for anything you might need. We would highly suggest staying here. We are so grateful that she shares her little paradise in the mountains"

"This property is awesome! Just beware the trees have grown up some in back and block part of the Mountain View but to the left side on the deck you can see well. But on the other hand, there is TOTAL privacy on the back deck and in the hot tub! This location is great and safe from flash floods, being up the mountain from Gatlinburg as we found out when there was a major storm one night. Another plus is being away from the busyness of downtown but a quick drive to the grocery store, which is also is across from the city hall where you can park for free and catch the trolley into town. You will also see bears at this property which was neat for us, in addition to a bobcat and a cottontail bunny. After the first day we looked both ways before leaving the cabin! The only improvement I’d make to the cabin is to have a couple recliners but it was fine. The beds and pillows were comfortable too. Although this is 3 bed/2 bath, it is laid out compact- all rooms off a short central hallway so probably not as private as your 3/2 back home. It was fine for the two of us. One last point, we did the self guided tours in the mountain area and highly recommend Kowahi(?) aka Clingman’s Dome. A moderately steep 1/2 mile walk up a paved path; I was sucking wind pretty bad but the views at the top are worth it. The clouds kept coming in and out so we got some great pics. I believe it’s the highest place in TN. It was the highlight of the trip."
