We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, always making sure we had everything we needed. Our room was cleaned every day and was spotless. We booked a balcony room overlooking the beautiful Chania Old Town Harbor, and the views were absolutely amazing—one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel itself is beautiful, very well maintained, and conveniently located within walking distance of nearly everything, including restaurants, shops, and the harbor. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chania! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had an amazing time. It felt like a really family oriented hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice facilities. Even a small gym, wich was’nt listed. The room was fantastic, however if you have problems with stairs, maybe not the hotel for you. Our aircondition broke one day, but the hotel fixed it straight away and was very helpful. You could also get breakfast to go if you needed it for a Tripp.

This little hotel is honestly the perfect place. It has such character with its courtyard and winding hallways, the room I had was spacious and clean and the AC was amazing after a hot day out at the beaches! The service from the staff was top notch, they treat you like family not like another hotel guest! Its location is also hard to beat! Right on the water near the old bay, restaurants and shopping everywhere yet the pace at the hotel is still very relaxed! The breakfast was also amazing! I truly enjoyed my stay here and will absolutely be back in the future!

I had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Amphora Hotel. The location was incredible, the view from the balcony couldn't have been better, and the staff were extremely helpful and kind. The only thing that I could say that wasn't glowingly positive was that I could hear people in the neighboring room, but I'm sure that's common in these older hotels. I would absolutely stay again and recommend to others.

What a lovely hotel in the heart of the old Venetian port. Perfect place to stay in walk around. The staff was wonderful and I even snagged the sweetened orange peel recipe from the gentleman from their cafe! He also checked us into the hotel. Lovely person! Can't wait to try his recipe!

This hotel is located in the Venetian Harbor, right in the middle of the old town. The building is an historical building with views over the water from many rooms. A wonderful feature of the hotel are the two terraces on the roof, where you can relax and enjoy the view of the harbor and the shops! I found the staff attentive and helpful. If you have any requests, just let them know- they'll help out any way they can. Rooms seem well renovated. The ceiling height in my room was impressive, as were the windows in all directions. The decor is light and minimalist. As a Scandinavian I felt right at home. Everything is clean and well maintained. Beds are soft but firm. Pillows might be on the firm side for some. Bathrooms are clean, well-maintained and spacious. On the ground floor of the hotel is a restaurant where breakfast is served. Breakfast is an excellent Mediterranean-style buffet, which varies somewhat from day to day. In the evenings, the restaurant is alive with guests. Try the food, its good! Any negatives? Well, only slight ones. - The fridge in the room was a bit small. Only one or two 1,5 liter water bottles will fit. - There are only stairs inside the property, and they are a bit steep if your balance is poor or for small children. - The chimney from the restaurant comes out on the smaller roof terrace. This means that you might smell the (delicious) cooking going on. This is in no way intrusive, but it might make you very hungry.

We had a very pleasant stay in this beautiful, traditional hotel. The room was very clean and full of character, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The air conditioning was available 24/7, which was a big plus, especially with the hot weather outside. Coming back to the room after being out in the heat and enjoying the cool air was wonderful. ❄️☀️ The only issue we experienced was with our breakfast booking. We had paid for a package that included breakfast through Expedia, but unfortunately, there was no clear evidence of the breakfast inclusion on the hotel receipt. Even after contacting Expedia, they were unable to resolve the issue for us. Other than that, we had a lovely and pleasant stay with our family and really enjoyed our time here. ❤️ A helpful tip for future guests: Before making your payment through Expedia or booking a package holiday, make sure you take a screenshot showing clearly whether breakfast is included. It may be useful to have this as proof later.
