"Quick and easy check in. Room had been recently renovated and had everything needed and was very clean throughout with soft fluffy towels and fresh smelling linens.
Food was great quality both at breakfast and from the main menu later in the day. Make sure you book if you want a table for dinner as it is very popular.

"Fabulous hosts and really accommodating. Our day didn’t go exactly to plan and they were more than happy to delay our dinner a little bit.
Cream tea on arrival was lovely. The packed lunch made for us to take up Snowdon was just what we needed and the dinner on our return (although we were 20-30 minutes late) went down well.
After climbing a mountain, the bed was so comfortable and we slept so well.

Very un-green: no double glazing anywhere I saw. Room cleaning skimpy - glass shelf over sink always left unwiped, tea provisions not topped up adequately, bath not wiped round. Food excellent quality, well prepared. More choice of breakfast buffet items would be welcome. If you are solo and book in advance for dinner, be aware that you might find your table is in the remote and spartan reception/corridor area, not the actual restaurant - staff said they wished the restaurant was larger, which sounded like they routinely over-book. Convenient location for public transport- bus stops round the corner and railway station about ten minutes walk. "
