"Great downtown location with friendly staff in a very cool building. Parking is a bit of a ripoff at $38/day but I suppose it might be worth it on weekdays. I was there on the weekend and parking is only $5/day with no in/out. We were only in and out a couple of times a day so it would’ve been cheaper to just pay $5 each time. "

"I was disappointed with our stay at Embassy Suires. Our family had 2 rooms. My adult children and grandson stayed in one room with a king bed and pull out couch. When it was time to get ready for bed they noticed the pull out couch had to bedding and bedding, blankets, sheets no where to be found. They called the front desk to request bedding and they said they woukd deliver some. No one showed. My grandson had to use a towel as a blanket. Buyer beware. If you get a room with pull out, checkfor bedding and best get it youtseld instead of waiting for someone to bring it. "

"Location of this place is top notch especially if you plan to go to any sporting events down town. It's close enough you can walk to everything but still off from the main strip so that it's not super noisy. The gym was being renovated and it will legit be the best gym in Minneapolis."

"I don't often stay at hotels, so I can't speak from much experience. The Normandy was fine. A stone's throw from everything. I chose it for the heated pool and jacuzzi - great way to end a hard day. My room was quiet, spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only thing I really didn't like was the noisy heating system which roared when it was on. "
