"The pool is packed with kids and parents. Not great for a relaxing swim, but it is a hotel geared for young families. The hot tub is nice to unwind. Only allows 7 people at once. Shelly's restaurant in the hotel has yummy food and a good variety. My only disappointment is there is no free continental breakfast. Parents like me who need their morning coffee go to Tim Hortons or Starbucks nearby. Would be very nice to have a cafe inside the hotel with free coffee. "

"Loved the gazebo with gas brbq provided nice addition Adirondack chairs were pretty and comfortable breakfast was ok could have been hotter but plentiful and good butter was hard leave it out of fridge so it’s spreadable but over all good we will return😃"

"Beautiful hotel, but unfortunately the experience left me feeling really uncomfortable. About 30 minutes after checking in, a hotel staff member attempted to enter my room without warning. Thankfully I had the latch closed, but I was already settled into the room and on a work meeting when it happened. Regardless of what I was doing, having someone try to enter an occupied room unexpectedly is completely inappropriate and honestly made me uneasy for the rest of my stay. I reported it to the front desk shortly after and was given a complimentary drink coupon, but the situation itself was never really addressed in a meaningful way. The other major disappointment was the food. The restaurant service staff were kind and attentive, but the food itself was genuinely poor. My meal was dry, overcooked, and not enjoyable. I brought it to the attention of the restaurant manager at the time, but nothing was done. Later, the hotel offered to send up an alternate room service item instead. Unfortunately, that was somehow even worse. The vegetables looked dried out and old, ingredients listed on the menu were missing, and the entire plate looked unappetizing and poorly prepared. It’s unfortunate because the hotel itself is beautiful, but between the room privacy issue and the disappointing food experience, this stay did not meet expectations."

"Clean hotel, comfortable rooms, and great breakfast! A great spot for a last minute London stay that was budget friendly. We stayed with our kids. Lots of options for breakfast for them too."

"The place is so quaint but the host is not at all prepared for guests. Didn’t respond until I prompted again, parking far and hard to find. I had to ask neighbours…..can’t control heat, no forks, cups, dinner plates, only 1 pot, 1 pan, TV doesn’t work, nor does the oven, told us there was firewood but there was none. Many steps up which we knew about but dangerous spots for kids. We had to leave several times to get what should have been provided. I suggested we get reimbursed for the things we had to run out to buy that should have been there but I have not heard back. You can get just as nice of a place with very organized hosts for the same price or less. I would not suggest this place. "

"House was beautiful, everything was new and great for kids, kids play room and fans room was fun for adults too. Hot tube was nice and hot. Only negative was the locked box was hard to get into. Key pad would be better and easier. "
