"This resort checked all the boxes - beautiful ocean view and huge rooms stocked with amenities. Made my vacation (a 50th birthday trip with 7 friends from multiple locations) amazing. The food was resort food (fine, not exceptional except for the Mexican restaurant, where we went for food) but that's normal (having stayed at 5 resorts in the Caribbean, this is totally the way it is), and you get a lot of value for the money. "

"The room was not good. I upgraded to a priority swim out and the lock on the conjoined room was broken the screen on the sliding door was ripped the safe was broken. And the worst part was no bar service for the swim out and the closest bar was at the other end of the property so having the swim out room was not worth it if you're planning on drinking. The food was not that good and the only thing the minny bar had was soda and water. I would not go back and wouldn't recommend. For this being a Hyatt property for me it was disappointing as I have always had better from their property's and paying to be a priority member I was disappointed as I just did not get that. "

"I'd like to write a positive review, but I'm disappointed. I'm a travel agent, and I was fooled by the pretty photos and good reviews. If my clients had stayed at this resort, I'd have had to immediately find them a new place at my own expense. The only positive is that there are cenotes on the resort grounds, and if you're staying at this hotel, you don't have to pay extra to visit and swim in them, as well as a small zip line and kayaks. Buses and cars with tourists who pay for these activities arrive at the hotel territory every day. On the negative side: We arrived at almost 11 p.m., when everything was closed, it was dark and a bit scary, and we were met by a man who didn’t speak English. But he took us to our building, where we rented two rooms. When I inspected the room in the morning, I was very disappointed. There was no microwave in either room, only one room had a coffee maker, but I was shocked by the state of the refrigerator and the sink with faucet in the kitchen, dishwasher sponge. The bathroom had the same faucet, and the towels were old and stained. It smelled like an old, musty room that hadn't been lived in for a long time and hadn't been maintained. The second issue was the pool: it's never been cleaned, and no one ever swims there. The pool is beautiful and large, but it's covered in leaves and insects, and there are a lot of trees all around. No one maintains it, and it feels like the resort has been completely abandoned. There's still som"

"The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout the preplanning of our trip as well as throughout our entire stay. She was easy to access and responsive. Barbara even helped us plan a small wedding/vow exchange on the property and connected us with some amazing people to help make our day magical in this beautiful location!The amenities were gorgeous, the view, the calm bay and BEAUTIFUL sand and well-kept beach for enjoyed by all!The staff were OUTSTANDING and just as hard to leave as the beautiful location. They were all so kind, accommodating and down right hard workers!!! We enjoyed the incredible food served by Manuel and the delicious bottomless drinks served by Loius. We appreciated the beautiful ladies that helped keep our space clean and tidy and were so helpful with getting clothes washed and pressed for our big day! They worked so hard to make the indoor space, the outdoor space and beach look simply flawless!!!This was a truly perfect vacation for our whole family!"

"This was a last minute trip and I must say I had absolutely a WONDERFUL time and sooooo happy I stayed here! The Staff…EVERYONE was so nice, professional, helpful, kind, sweet, and attentive. I slept very well…the bed was very comfortable. Then Matias…he did a video of me that was soooooo beautiful. I mean…I speechless as I came to do absolutely nothing…which is surprising being I always do activities and take pictures. They let me stay a lil longer for my flight. Arranged my transportation to and from the airport and even off the bay to go to Tulum. I most definitely will come back and thank you guyz again🥹❤️"

"The hacienda was beautiful, with its own cenote and underground river. Tours by David were amazing on site, and his advice for activities, restaurants etc. really enhanced our stay. The restaurant food was excellent - we had breakfast included and also ate one lunch and 2 dinners during our 5 night stay. "
