"The view of the city was the highlight of this room! The staff were super friendly. Check in was smooth and efficient. Self-parking was easy. Rooms were decently sized. Beds are comfortable. Walking distance to the Regency Ballroom. Exactly what we needed for a quick overnight stay. Will absolutely book again!"

"All of these competing hotels seem to source their breakfast food items from the same supplier. I just returned from a 2k road trip with my family this week stayed at mid tiered hotel chains at Holiday Inn Express, Best Western, Fairfield, and Hampton Inn. These breakfasts are identical. Hampton Inn imo has the most bitter coffee in both light and dark roast. My wife says the same about their decaf offerings. The best coffee we experienced was at Holiday Inn, they have this machine that grinds your coffee beans at time of order then brews. The only downside side is that it takes a little longer. "

"Check in was easy, place was clean. Host was very nice with parking in her driveway but it’s San Francisco and our car was just too big it was a constant source of stress with the neighbors. The family was very nice but they have a very energetic toddler that runs around, didn’t bother us, but if we weren’t traveling with kids it might have. Easy walk to general things, about 20-30min drive from SF attractions/ known restaurants but very central. Would 100% book again. "

"First time staying in Bernal Heights & love it. The place is very charming, bright & cozy with a sunny deck in the back. The unit is well equipped. There are markets, restaurants & the most amazing tequila shop in SF within walking distance. We ate at the 3rdCousin on Cortland which was fantastic! There a public library just up a block, plenty of street parking (just watch for street cleaning times & If parked on a grade, turn your wheels according or U might get a ticket!!) As mentioned by others, the host family lives upstairs with young children. U are bound to hear noises early in the morning when everyone gets ready & then in the evening when they come home. It was fine for us but some may be bothered by it."

"The kitchenette was weird. Utensils were 3 butter knives, 1 spatula, one pair of tongs and that was it. They could have easily added some disposable forks and spoons in the drawer or something. But three butter knives only ? That's weird. Also they're checking system is fully remote and over a kiosk to someone in South Asia and it is not only tedious and horrible in its efficiency but it is the reason I will probably never go back. This is my fourth day with him over the years the last Tuesdays have been horrible because it is stupid kiosk system. Mark my words they will never have repeat customers because of this. It is crap."
