"What an absolutely wonderful time we have just spent in Caunes Minervois - everything we hoped for and more. Taking the house for a month allowed us to really get a feel for the village although for 2 of us it was a return visit after 13 years! The house is extremely comfortable and all amenities are excellent. We were lucky enough to win the toss and get the top floor bedroom with adjoining lounge which had such a beautiful outlook across the roof tops to the distant hills. Trying to understand...

"The beautiful villa is located in a cul-de-sac on the hillside with great views of the village and the Pyrenees in the distance. The footpath to the village is short but a bit arduous due to the difference in altitude. We were there with 5 adults and 2 dogs (2 cars). Parking in the driveway is best done backwards. 2 cars next to each other is a bit tricky but possible (otherwise one after the other). The equipment of the house is impeccable.
