"The owners of the home have exceptional attention to detail. They have thought of everything. My family loved the pod-like structure of the home that maximized the outdoor space and stunning views. The owners live next door and can answer questions quickly. Our jeep’s battery died early one morning, and they helped facilitate a jump from a nearby neighbor quickly. We plan to return next year!"

"We recently stayed at this charming cottage and had a wonderful experience. This is our third stay on this property. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and welcomed. This cottage is beautifully maintained, cozy and thoughtfully decorated. The living area is warm and inviting -perfect for unwinding in the evenings as is the porch area. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed making it easy to prepare meals. The bedroom is comfortable & quiet and we slept well. Everything was spotlessly, clean and well organized. We especially appreciated the peaceful outdoor space with all of the unique plants of the area. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch with the beautiful view. It really felt like a private retreat away from the noise of every day life back in New Hampshire. Tina and Joe are friendly and responsive. They have attention to detail and made sure that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, this is the perfect getaway and we will happily return next year. Highly recommend this place to others."

"Our family has been coming to St John for 5 yrs. Cloud 9 was our favorite! The views are unmatched! The patio was so pleasant… beautiful pool & hot tub, hummingbird feeder (so fun watching them), and many relaxing seating options… the swing chair! The house was wonderfully equipped and comfortable. Perfect space for families to come together but to also have space. Things to note … the switchbacks are serious going up that mountain. We are used to them by now though. Also what you’d consider the kids bedroom is in the main house . The other bedrooms are outside of the main house. But there’s a door that can be locked to the property. Our boys are teens, so it was fine.Overall the pictures lived up to the reality. I could have stayed forever. Thank you!!!"

"Hostess was welcoming. The setting is beautiful, however the villa is very tired. The fan and light over the kitchen counter did not work, lighting was not bright, kitchen area is very dark, the living room couches were very uncomfortable and marred, the living area was also very dark. We asked for bug repellant to replenish the spray in the bathroom on Monday/Tuesday. Did not receive the repellant until Friday. Many of the remotes were not functional and were not labeled. The many candles, both electronic and traditional were not functional when we needed them. The power went out on Friday, and remained off over 36 hours. We heard generators running all around us in other houses, however our villa had no generator. Without power, we couldn't flush the toilet, take showers or wash the dishes. We were surprised that through out the week, no one serviced the pool or came to clean up. We would suggest that the villa is desperate for a "deep clean"...bugs in the bathroom globes and dust on the pans hanging from the kitchen rack and the kitchen globes need some attention. Spices in the kitchen should be discarded due to moisture making them solid and impossible to use. We had to wash and clean dishes, pots and pans before we were able to use them. "

"Our hosts were fantastic and made our week in St John idyllic. They were highly responsive to the few questions we had and gave us additional great tips for hikes and beaches! The cottage was very comfortable and clean, with nice privacy and a spectacular view!!We definitely hope to return to Ayiti Cottage in St John."

"This is a beautiful place! The views and landscaping are gorgeous. It's quiet and feels away from it all. It was nice returning here after being out and about during the day, then waking up and enjoying the beauty each morning. I miss it already. The host is welcoming, friendly, personable, and helpful. I highly recommend staying here. It's exactly as pictured but the view/vibe is even better in person . "
