"This place is a GEM. The staff was so friendly. The rooms are super cute and historic. Everything is within walking distance and you can't beat the view of mountains in the background. Their restaurant was closed as they are getting ready to renovate the entire property. Nice little bar with anything you want really. The front and back porches are so nice to sit and enjoy a cool evening. We will for sure be back after the renovations! "

"Accessible for my parents who were celebrating their 60th anniversary. Perfect location... Close enough to Biltmore, but not in the middle of Asheville craziness. Clean, comfortable, and a lovely porch. We watched two bears from the porch and felt honored. "
"We love to stay here when visiting Black Mountain. The only thing I could say that might need improvement is the caulk in our shower. It needs replacing as it looked moldy."

"The Barbie House was my 8-year-old daughter’s dream come true! Nestled just down the road from the incredibly charming town of Black Mountain, we walked into a sea of pink and pure Barbie magic. No detail was overlooked. This home makes kids feel like they’ve stepped into their very own play world, and it brings out the kid in every adult too. We loved all the thoughtful touches, and the host was nothing short of amazing. We’ll definitely be back!"
"We had to travel to Black Mountain for work but wanted a location that was not just a hotel as we needed to stay 10 days and wanted to feel more “at home”. This property worked great! Plenty of space, beautiful scenery, well-equipped kitchen, and close to where we needed to be. Will definitely look at this property again if we need to come back to Black Mountain/Montreat."

"We had a marvelous visit to Burnt Ridge, simply marvelous! Nestled in the woods, the house is beautifully decorated and well stocked. It was hard to pull us away from the house to tour the area. We spent the days hiking, visiting Black Mountain and Asheville, but reserved the evenings for cooking at home and enjoying the deck, stars and friendship. Oh, the owner and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Many thanks. We look forward to another visit! "
