We had a good stay, friendly staff, good breakfast and large and clean room. During the weekend there is however a lot of noise from the street.

A short walk from the station and bus station. Lovely ancient building tucked away above a row of local shops. Central courtyard a boon for smokers. We'll try and come again. Really friendly helpful shopkeeper next door, open late on a Sunday. Won't provide a gourmet meal, but will keep the wolf from the door and enable a good night's sleep until the cake and coffee breakfast in this accommodation.

One Night in Catania

Lovely hosts and staff. Host communicated check in instructions very early. The bed was VERY comfortable!! The bathroom was clean and nice as well. Also AC in the room was nice for those who prefer AC. The breakfast options were very nice for the price. A variety of cakes, yogurts, and some cereal with both soy/regular milk. We paid at the property and they do not take card, so make sure to have cash on hand. The only feedback I have is that it was very noisy early this morning (around 7am), so hard to sleep and you could hear a lot going on in the hall. This was only a one night stay for us, but I would definitely return. Thank you!

This property was certainly appealing and the decor was lovely. The bed was comfortable, however we were only given 2 flat pillows and only 1 spare. The staff were very accomodating and helpful so I imagine if we had asked for another they would have found one. The check in instructions were really clear. The room was clean - ish. The dressing table, chair, one of the towels and bath were all a bit dirty on arrival. We found that the hallway section of the room had many ants (20 ) on the wall, dragging a dead spider into the vents. This wasn’t very nice. The bath was nice but took ages to fill up and while it did have a shower head this got a lot of water everywhere so perhaps a shower too would have been good or at least a curtain round the bath. The breakfast was nice enough. It was cakes and an occasional yoghurt, with the option of cereal. Everything was kept out to help yourself between breakfast hours, but we noticed that the cake that wasn’t eaten on one day was brought back out again the following 2 days and was a bit stale. The location of this property is amazing and only a 10 minute walk into Catania and to the main tourist areas, really close to great restaurants and bars. We could not fault this. It’s also only 10 mins walk from the train station. If you’re looking for a cheap and cheerful stay in Catania, this place is good.

I stayed here because the price was good for one night and I need to be close to Catania Airport. The area doesn’t feel like Italy but the walk into town was only 10 mins. Overall, a good spot for something affordable and quick

Nice stay. Bad area

Very Nice B&B, fantastic staff and espresso. Neighborhood is very poor, and not safe to walk around in the night. Don’t take a car and park it in the streets.

A very nice and big room, basic but clean with modern bathroom , within a walking distance to almost all Catatia’s main monuments and places to see. The breakfast is continental, sweets great and the coffee was the best this side of Rome. A must go is the best restaurant in town, Casa d’ Amici which is just around the corner, with more than 70 pizzas and fantastic selection of fresh fish and pasta. The hosts Sonia and Mara are welcoming and friendly. Sonia arranged our transfer to the airport with fabulous Giovanni, , which was cheaper than when we arrived and we’re charged almost double.

La nostra suite, Gammazita sicuramente ci ha dato una privacy e il silenzio che forse altre stanze, vista l'ubicazione, non offrono. La stanza é ampia e davvero comoda, il letto di una comodità impressionante. Il B&B si trova vicino a tutti i centri di interesse di Catania e, anche se si trova accanto a un quartiere pieno di contrasti, risulta sicuro. Gentilissimala la la proprietária e molto disponibile, con dei consigli gastronomici assolutamente da seguire!

Alojamiento bien ubicado. Decoración bonita. Patio agradable. Aunque es un bed & breakfast, el desayuno es de pago. 4 euros por persona. Magdalena de bolsa, zumo tetrabrik, yogures, había sólo un croissant y somos dos. Desayunamos en la calle mas barato y muy rico. Pero eso es para gustos.Estuve en habitación Galatea, todo perfecto excepto la ducha que daba grima. Sucia. No me gustó que no entren en habitación a comprobar necesidades como el papel higiénico o geles. Por lo demás todo perfecto .

Struttura nel complesso sufficiente , proprietario gentile e disponibile ( sentito solo al telefono ), nonostante siamo arrivati di sera tardi ,( causa ritardo volo ),l'indomani mattina per un quarto d'ora di ritardo al check out , la signora delle pulizie si è rivolta in modo sgarbato ,ovviamente ci ha fatto passare la voglia di fare colazione . Volevamo chiarire la cosa con il proprietario il quale però non ci ha risposto né richiamato . Il pagamento invece è stato puntuale e in anticipo😉 Peccato un' occasione mancata per migliorare il servizio 👋

Chambre à Catane

Réception virtuelle via WhatsApp. Petit déjeuner standard. Chambre avec juste une petite fenêtre qui était masquée par un faux lierre en plastique, donc assez sombre. Le gobelet du lavabo avait une trace de blanc au fond. Défaut d'étanchéité de la paroi de douche.
