Hotel is well situated in a quiet area with lots of dining options. It’s also an easy walk to all the historic areas. We also used the hotel gym several times and we thought it was very decent. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people traveling in catania.

The staff at this hotel were excellent, however, the rooms desperately need to be renovated. Threadbare carpet, wallpaper is peeling off the walls, etc. It looks like it hasn't been renovated in 20 years, no joke.

The property and staff, plus the breakfast was wonderful. The area doesn't look the best. Also we had to walk a ways to get to the city center. Sometimes would take a taxi. Not many restaurants in the area either. However, the breakfast was an A+ as was the staff.

Property was good and staff was very helpful. It was within a 10 minute walk to the Main Street via Etnea. The area around the hotel is dirty, but from what I have seen that is basically Sicily in a nutshell. Beautiful island, very nice people, lots of garbage.
