Nice stay.

We were able to check in a bit early, which was great. The coffee shop across the street was excellent for morning cappuccino and evening gelato. We stayed just one night, so it was easy to find and great location next to a lovely park. The bed was a bit too firm for my husband, but great for me.

Valeria and Loredana were really super sweet and had great ideas/recommendations. The room and the whole apartment was clean and quiet. I really had a good time! Only thing I would have liked to know about beforehand was the large construction site in the courtyard. Small idea: I would offer free coffee/tea in the room.

the staff was very welcoming, and helpful with our questions about getting around the city. we had a few minor problems with the air conditioner and toilet and they were fixed promptly and we had no further issues. The owner was able to get us transportation to the airport at half the cost of our ride in. The driver they arranged was prompt and took good care of us. Again the staff was excellent

We enjoyed exploring Catania and this property is in the heart of the city. The host was great. The only thing I would say would be the external property is in the middle of a building site. As soon as you enter the building you are met with this before you get upstairs. The bed and breakfast itself is very nice but we opened the window and all you could see is the building site in the middle of the property which we didn’t know about before booking. Overall the host and the b&b were excellent though.

Nice rooms but complicated set up & zero service

This stay would have been so much better if we had been informed ahead of time that there would be a construction site (we almost just left), then 3 flights of stairs and zero help or service. It’s a completely do it yourself B&B which is difficult to get into and almost impossible if you have any luggage. There is a tiny lift but instructions were complicated and my bag didn’t fit in it anyway so I had to leave most of my things in the car as it was too heavy for so many stairs. I was travelling with two older people and a young child and it was very difficult for us and no one to help you check in or assist with bags or help in general. Staff at breakfast were very nice each day with zero English. Rooms very very comfortable but very hot. I think if management would have just prepared us better what to expect in terms we would have had a much better experience. I spent a lot of time answering questions from other guests who had also had a difficult time getting and managing self check in and the stairs etc.

Loredana was a lovely host and made us feel welcome on a short stay to Catania. The area immediately around is generally okay, and has some dirty streets nearby, but don’t let it put you off because Catania has some excellent places to discover.

insbesondere die Padrona sowie Bernadetta waren super nett und haben uns unterstützt bei Planung, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Man muss unbedingt vorher Bescheid sagen , wenn man bei der Anreise vor der Tür steht, damit einem mit dem Aufzug geholfen werden kann - Frühstück war Liebevoll gerichtet

Bizi karşılayan kişi son derece sıcakkanlı ve yardımcıydı. Mutfağı ve terası rahattı. Biz kahvaltısı olmadığını fark etmeden rezervasyon yapmışız. Bu tür tüm konaklamalarızda bu fiyat bandında kahvaltı oluyordu, bu çok hoşumuza gitmedi. Kaldığımız odada tuvalet odanın içine sonradan eklenmiş ve tavanı odaya açılacak şekildeyi, bir kabin gibi yani. 2 kişi seyahat ederlen bu çok hoşumuza gitmedi.

Tra le ragioni per cui avevo scelto la struttura vi era anche e soprattutto quella legata alle recensioni lasciate con riguardo ad una abbondante buona, genuina colazione preparata a cura della proprietaria del B&B. Niente di tutto questo. Al nostro risveglio ci siamo svegliati trovando un banco vuoto, non era possibile nemmeno fare un tè o un caffè. La macchinetta c’era ma mancavano cialde e infusi. Davanti alle nostre osservazioni, ci è stato risposto che l’importo da noi pagato non prevedeva questa possibilità. Premesso che abbiamo pagato a questo punto una cifra sproporzionata rispetto ad un b&b posto ad un piano faticosamente da raggiungere stante l’assenza dell’ascensore, privo di particolari servizi confort, ma soprattutto mi sono chiesta come mai a questo punto tutti gli ospiti presenti nella struttura siamo caduti nella stesso equivoco?davvero ne’ noi ne’ gli amici con cui eravamo ci siamo accorti che avevamo pagato un b&b senza colazione? Ed inoltre.. perché si chiama “breakfast “?

Die Unterkunft war ok. Das Frühstück für 8€ mehr als gut! Die Inhaberin und Ihre Mitarbeiter sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Allerdings wird im Angebot verschwiegen, dass das Haus sehr heruntergekommen ist und aufgrund von behördlichen Vorgaben seit 8 Javren nichts passiert. Es ist ein Baustelle. Ein sehr schönes Haus, dass allmählich zerfällt. Im B&B ist es sauber. Die kleine Terrasse könnte liebevoller gestaltet werden. Es war ok, ich würde mir allerdings fürs nächste Mal was anderes suchen. Das Bild der Aussenfront entspricht nicht der Realität. Wenn man sich dessen bewusst ist, kann man den Kurztrip dort buchen.
