"We are a long term clients of wish. We love the hospitality always, including our service pet. We love their food, breakfast and surroundings for shopping for our house in Boipeba. Our favorite hotel in Salvador"
" CUSTO BENEFÍCIO MARAVILHOSO. CAFÉ DA MANHÂ BÁSICO E BOM,COM SUCO NATURAL DE FRUTAS, O QUE NÃO É MUITO COMUM PELO O QUE SE PAGA.AMBIENTE EXTRITAMENTE FAMILIAR."
"The property provides a homely experience. The staff work like a family. There are cats at this property who are cute, but in case you have allergies best to avoid. Anyways I had a lovely experience and would recommend to anyone"
"I am giving 1 star because the employees of the hotel are kind. As soon as we entered the room there was a dead cockroach on top of the sink. The television did not work at all in the first room and the smell in the hall if you have any type of allergy, do not go. On the second day I went to complain and on our way down the elevator stopped. We talked to the receptionist and she moved us to a different room. The tv in the new room worked, but there was a cockroach running around the room (also...

"My mom, sister, and I had an amazing eight-day stay at Hotel Grande de Barra. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and cared for. Every single staff member was helpful, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made our experience even more special especially since we don’t speak the native language. The kitchen staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well-fed. They were so accommodating and warm that it truly touched us.
Our room was spacious and clean, and anything we needed was handled promptly and with care. The personalized service made it hard to say goodbye, not just to the city, but to the hotel itself. It felt like leaving family.
The hotel is not only beautiful and well-kept, but it’s also in the perfect location just steps away from two stunning beaches, close to great restaurants, and only a short drive to the main attractions in Bahia.
Without a doubt, anytime I return to this area, I will always stay at Hotel Grande de Barra. The people, the views, the location, it’s all unforgettable.

"Great hotel. Right at beach front and restaurants and shops and very safe. The room was clean and house keeping was very accessible and helpful. However you should really, really, really invest on purchasing mattress sheets with the elastic bands the grab the mattress. What is up with using regular sheets on the mattress?? Have of the time, after a few tosses and turns during the night, one ends up sleeping on the bare mattress. Thank goodness it was clean. Nevertheless, it was still gross. "

On the second day I went to complain and on our way down the elevator stopped. We talked to the receptionist and she moved us to a different room. The tv in the new room worked, but there was a cockroach running around the room (also caught on video!) and when my daughter took a shower the entire bathroom flooded. We had to ask someone to fix it. It was the first shower in the "new"bathroom. The next day they closed the swimming pool with no previous notice. I am not even going to talk about the food. Very bad food. Not even the French fries. You can see the oil is old. One of the highlights of hotels in Brazil are the breakfast, not in this hotel. No fresh fruits, very low variety of options. I am very glad that we left when we did. A horrible, horrible, experience."
"The most sofisticated hotel of Salvador for sure, we love the experience of being served that appreciates theyr job, people serving in all details. The personal from the breakfast needed to be promoted, they were so gentle and efficient. We’re coming back for sure .
