"- Reception on arrival was friendly and well informed / aware of my visit. Arrival administration and processing was quick. - Owner escorted us to the room to ensure all was well. Room was clean, well-equipped with a king-sized bed, large screen TV, fridge, microwave,keurig coffee machine, bottled water & Dad’s cookies. - Room was within 10’ of Trent-Severn Waterway, with a great view and less than 5 min drive to commercial / retail sector of Campbellford. - Checkout was speedy & efficient. - A great experience & looking forward to next visit. Highly recommended. "

"This was my second time at the property; however, it had recently changed its name from the Comfort inn brand. The only noticeable change was there was no waffle iron to make waffles, as before! The only negative would be the setup of the breakfast area in general. It was poorly organized such that, for example, the coffee was poured at one side of the area and the cream was in a fridge on the other. Maybe fine if just one person was there but with little kids, it was an accident waiting to happen. Anyway people were milling around not orderly at all. We’ve had much experience at US Military inns so notice some issues that they need to address. Otherwise, staff were friendly, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Well worth what we paid especially compared to comparable properties in the area."
