Top Castelnuovo Berardenga Hotel Reviews

Castello Vicchiomaggio

Castello Vicchiomaggio

10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay in the 2-room villa. It was a large two floor unit and had a beautiful view. The pictures understate the beauty. We were able to cook dinners in the kitchen after long days of sightseeing. We also appreciated the modern look, the dishwasher and the little washing machine. Because I like to know what to expect when I travel, visitors should know that the Villas are separate from the Castle. We did not have access to the infinity pool shown in the photos (villas have a smaller more basic pool) and no availability for breakfast or coffee as listed as an amenity. The restaurant was mostly closed. We were very comfortable and would highly recommend but would have liked that to be made more clear."

 Palazzo Ravizza

Palazzo Ravizza

10/10 Excellent
"Two things that really made our stay at the Palazzo Ravizza exceptional were the charming terrace with a view of the Tuscan countryside, and the included continental breakfast offered in the morning, including plenty of drip coffee! ☕️ Our room was also undeniably European, with a painted ceiling and rustic furniture. The AC was sufficient, considering the daytime high on our visit was 100°. Service from the staff was very helpful, and they even called a taxi for us. The shower was hot with strong water pressure. The architecture of the hotel had some historic charm as well, with leaded glass doors, black and white marble floors, and vaulted ceilings in the public spaces. But that terrace... 😍"

"Wonderful hotel in great location just a short walk from the centre but quiet and peaceful in the evening. Fabulous helpful staff. Breakfast always fresh and lots of choice. We used the terrace restaurant once and it was fabulous - what amazing views! Highly recommended for a short or longer stay"

Hotel Chiusarelli

Hotel Chiusarelli

8/10 Good
"Location was great - 5 mins to the bus station and town centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. Only issue we faced was with the hairdryer - attached to the wall in the bathroom - it kept cutting out. Luckily one of the team were able to bring a portable one - but was a bit of a pain. Would defo recommend if you are in Siena."

"Great property with unique setting being an old monastery. We thought we had booked a room with A/C but there wasn’t. They moved us to a room with A/C at no additional cost."

Villa I Barronci Resort & Spa

Villa I Barronci Resort & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"This was a fabulous stay. The property is beautiful, the grounds were fun to walk and the swimming pool was lovely. Breakfast every morning was delicious. Hotel was very quiet during the week but was noticeably busier starting Friday (I think local people come just for the weekend). Our room was spacious and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. There is a bar near the pool that serves drinks in the afternoon and dinner nightly on the terrace. The nearby town was so cute and had a coop as well as numerous delicious restaurants (I recommend Nonno’s for a rustic, authentic dinner, La Carboneira for pizzas and I Pini for gelato. I would stay here again and highly recommend!"
