We considered staying in Paestum to be close to the great temples but knowing that La Mortella was only 20 minutes away convinced us to try something different during our Italia tour. Very comfortable bed. Lovely continental buffet breakfast. We didn't use the Spa facilities. A short drive to Paestum archaeological site, and also local shops and restaurants. "

We couldn’t understand why the place was mostly empty, but we stayed mid-week, and the place clearly caters to Italians (even the spa menu was only in Italian).
