"Stayed at several B&Bs during our trip. This one we would not return to. AC wouldn't go below 28c/82f. The beds were really hard, so between the heat and bed it was very hard to sleep. Be prepared to carry your bags up spiral staircase 3 floors without help. Bring a towel for pool, they do not provide. "Great location. Owner very accommodating allowing us to leave our cases until check in. Owner responded very swiftly to any issues we had.
Be aware there are many steps down to entrance and then stairs up to the accommodation.
Breakfast ordering was a bit of a phaff having to download an app and each guest had to create an account in order to choose breakfast items. "

"If you want a true Italian family experience then a stay at BnB La Mortella is the answer. We considered staying in Paestum to be close to the great temples but knowing that La Mortella was only 20 minutes away convinced us to try something different during our Italia tour. "We attended a wedding in Capaccio. The bride and groom suggested this hotel. It is so tastefully done. Even though it is only about 10 years old it appears authentic. The restaurant was superb and the proprietor and staff were exceptional with their caring. It is a family operation and they are charming. The views were magnificent with water views including the Isle of Capri in the distance. The beds were comfortable and rooms are spacious. We enjoyed the pool as it was a warm time of year. I highly recommend this hotel and their staff!"

"We arrived early at the hotel and we're allowed to park at the hotel while we walked to the ancient Greek Temples which were an easy walk from the hotel.
The hotel had beautiful grounds and a nice swimming pool.
The room was nice and clean, but simple.
We atedinner and it was delicious, as was the morning breakfast.
All in all a great stay and we would do it again. If you are going to see the Temples, it is worth a stay. "
