"Don't be put off by the 2☆ rating. This wee hotel is good. The staff are friendly, maid service prompt and efficient and location is excellent. Pretty much central in town and lot's of cafes and restaurant's on the doorstep. The rooms are clean and spacious, however a little outdated. I have stayed in 4☆'s that were worse though..The bed is comfortable. Negatives are over the weekend it gets noisy from midnight until around 3/4am due to proximity of late opening bars. Not a big issue though.. The toilet whilst clean could definitely do with a refresh but again it's marketed at a 2☆ so i cant really complain, and again its better than some 4☆'s I've stayed in. There is no elevator so you have to carry luggage up the stairs to your room. The price for my 6 days was so cheap compared to other hotels in Cherbourg. Excellent value. I would definitely stay here again and I genuinely didn't think i would say that when i booked what I thought was a cheap 2☆ hotel. It's definitely the best 2☆ hotel I've stayed in. "

I was not keen on Cherbourg in the past, but now it's clean and with great walking paths, liking the pedestrenisation, it's so nice, always lovely flowers and a very nice place for a stay over! "Great location for centre of town and bars and restaurants, free parking across the road by the Napoleon statue, good warm welcome, perfect for an overnight night stay. Didn’t try breakfast went to a local cafe with a view of the harbour instead "
