"The location is very nice, the food is good the bed it’s terrible, the bathroom needs some work, shower is terrible."

"For a place that hasn’t been open too long, the inside of your room is a little run down (shower rotting for example but my guess is it is from the water and humidity). Every single person who works here was amazing. The sweetest humans who made me feel welcome. I was also traveling solo, and everyone made me feel very safe. It’s a quiet property for the most part & very relaxing. Nice to walk along the beach and since the property is right by the water, you can watch the sunrise/sunset very easily. The restaurant was really good too. I would book my next stay here just for the pure fact that the staff was genuinely so kind!!"

"Our stay was pleasant overall, but there were several areas where the experience could have been improved. First, we would recommend limiting your stay to no more than two nights. The location is quite isolated and may not be ideal unless you’re specifically looking for a quiet, pool-focused getaway. The beach, unfortunately, is not very accessible due to the large number of rocks along the shoreline, which can pose a safety risk, swimming is at your own discretion. Additionally, there was a persistent odor coming from the bathroom that was quite unpleasant. I believe this was due to the plumbing of the room(s). We had to keep the bathroom window open at all times to help ventilate the space and make it more tolerable. Parking is also limited and can be challenging. There are only a handful of spots available beyond the gate, so securing a space largely depends on timing and luck. In summary, if you’re looking for a secluded location away from the city and nearby towns, this property may suit your needs. However, for convenience, accessibility, and comfort, there may be better options available."

"We booked a double room well in advance for a family of 4: 2 adults and 2 small children. Total disappointment. When we arrived, they only had a single room for us. They first claimed that Expedia had not sent them the reservation details correctly, but later they saw that the information was actually correct. It was obvious they had given our room to someone else because the hotel was full. The only solution they offered was to add an extra bed to the single room. They also said they could not refund the money because the booking was made through Expedia. Be careful. They do not respect reservations, and if you are traveling with family, they may charge you for a double room but give you a single one with that excuse."

"My stay at Palo Verde was amazing. The views were breathtaking and peaceful. The crew there was very nice and accommodating. My room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant attached, Nan Tal was amazing. The food was delicious and fresh every time I ordered. "
