Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Casas Del Aljibe?
The best area to stay in Casas Del Aljibe is within the historic centre itself, particularly around the Cathedral and the bustling streets of Trapería and Platería.

This central area is the heart of Murcia, offering a blend of historic architecture and contemporary life. You'll find many of the city's main attractions within easy walking distance, including the stunning Murcia Cathedral and the Royal Casino of Murcia. The streets here are pedestrian-friendly and lined with shops, tapas bars, and restaurants.

Couples will find this area particularly appealing for its romantic evening strolls and access to a wide array of dining options. The proximity to cultural landmarks and the general buzz of the city centre make for an engaging and memorable experience.
When is the best time to go to Casas Del Aljibe?
The best time to go to Casas Del Aljibe is generally during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.

These periods offer pleasant weather, with warm but not overly hot temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the region's natural beauty and enjoying outdoor activities. You'll find the countryside lush and green in spring, great for hiking or cycling through the Sierra Espuña Regional Park, which is easily accessible from Casas Del Aljibe.

For those looking to experience local culture and festivals, spring often brings a variety of traditional events to nearby towns like Alhama de Murcia. Autumn, on the other hand, is excellent for enjoying the grape harvest in local vineyards and the mild temperatures are great for visiting the historic sites without the summer crowds.

While the summer months (July and August) are very warm, they can still be a good option for visitors who enjoy hot weather and wish to spend time by the pool or explore the coast, which is about an hour's drive away.
