"Avoid this hotel at all costs!! We reserved two rooms for two nights. BOTH ROOMS were filthy. There was pubic hairs on the one bed. Some other kinda hair on the others. I called and asked for beds to be CHANGED. They came in and brushed the hairs off, turned over the pillows and moved on to the other room. We had six kids. It’s sad when none wanted to stay there. The bathtub was dirty. Elevator said it was on floor 82? There isn’t 82 floors. The stairs were scary and dark with emergency tags hanging. I ended up having to check right back out. No way was I sleeping where I wasn’t sure if bed sheets were clean and staff didn’t even care. BEWARE!!!! It’s beyond filthy!!!"

"It was a nice place overall, we booked a king size room but when they gave me they keys they didn't work. They then put me in a double queen room which honestly was probably better for the fact they only give you 3 pillows per bed even the kings so my wife and I actually got 3 a piece so that was nice. I loved the fact the rooms all have a old screen door and a bench outside of the room. The bathroom definitely could have used some improvements, my shower didn't have a shower rod it was in pieces in the window sill and the tile was all cracked up along the wall. The shower was hard to get hot water just right so it was either hot or luke warm water. It could have been cleaned better as well my wife went to open the "new soap" with her teeth and an old used bar fell out the other side. The room had a window unit AC so it was hard to keep the room a specific temperature. It was an overall pleasant experience given the issue we faced and my wife said she would definitely like to stay again."

"This is a resort where big tour buses bring large groups of people. A lot of young people to senior citizens are accommodated. They have more than the advertised continental breakfast. They have a large pool. It is in walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg. Our room was large and comfortable. It was quiet and secure. Parking was a little challenging in the evenings if you have walking issues but there was plenty. I would stay there again."

"Our room was in one of the guest houses far from the main building, and on the second floor. There was no luggage cart and we took 2 trips down to the garage. The receptionist said nothing about that. No overhead lights in the room so it was very dark. Only 1 knob to hang bath towels so it encouraged guests to use the towels only once. What’s wrong with hotel designers?"

"Great weekend stay. Clean, spacious room. We could all spread out in our own space-really like how the room was setup. Nice fridge, sink area. Pool was a nice size-my only concern was the flooring held the water and no one came in to mop it up, as far as we could tell (the next morning when we used it there were still puddles). Breakfast area was nice. Good options. Never saw the tables being wiped up after use, which would have been a plus. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We used a coupon from the travel book at a local Meadery!"

"The rooms available in colonial houses differ greatly. They originally assigned us a room on the second floor, which was not possible for us. Additionally, it was extremely hard to haul all of our luggage to the room. We then asked for a ground floor room and they were very accommodating, and the room was considerably better, although the ice machine didn’t work."

"The room was clean, but mold stains on the bathroom ceiling, hole in the bathroom door as if someone had punched it, musty damp room, food from a previous guest in the refrigerator and generally run down appearance were off-putting. It does appear they are renovating, though."
